get it tattoo'd on your chest that'd be sweet or at the very least make an iron-on transfer out of it
wait a minute, how do you know it was cotton? Are you staring at your monitor real hard? easy there bro.
you're the RKammy of Clutchfans, you tell me I believe you can fly.. I believe you can touch the sky...
I wasn't staring at my monitor. you're the one pointing it out. You told me. Why use a positive uplifting basketball-esque song to mock, and not some other R Kelly song such as that opera rap thing he had going. That song sucked. You could have use that one.
I hope I'm the last to say this, but the fact that the Texans are undefeated and yet this thread surprises me. Let me be the first to say... WRONG FORUM I'll even give you a link: www.titans.com We've had it. VY fans go to said link and stay.
Since a VY lead team actually lost, it was bound to bring out the haters despite all the above. I live in AZ too and that is the game I had. If you were not impressed with his play all I can say, to borrow your word, "dillusional". Was he perfect, no, but he was effective inthe air and on the ground, and the Colts, a defense on a great run of late, adjusted lots of things to play him and the Titans almost won. He had them at like the 35 with 30 second left and Jones has the ball fall through two hands. The 4th down play was a jail break mess, but he didn't go down easy and tried to make a play. VY young isn't close to the best QB in the league right now. But I can't think of a guy under 25 in the NFL I'd rather build my team around. Good, impactfull, player already, unlimited potential.
Real simple, if the thread has VY or Vince Young in it, one of the most successfull Houston and State of Texas athletes in recent memory, perhaps don't read, you are the one trolling. This is "Clutchfans", AKA Houston Rockets. This isn't a Texans board (though I have no ill will to them)--I am sure it exists if that is what you want to filter your pro football info.
Mostly because whenever VY sucks (I have no problem admitting he played a good game today against a solid team, cept for the final possession I guess) he gets basically all criticism deflected off him by what has become his internet publicity crew here at the CF.net BBS. If we stopped seeing such overthetop lauding of mediocrity, or sometimes even downright poor play, (as well as anti-Texan/MW stuff) then we might not see such an avalanche of anti-Titan/VY stuff in kind. To me its kind of silly to come on a Houston BBS, and openly cheerlead for the most hated franchise in town, and not expect critics to swarm, be they critical analysists (like Ric) or just flaming haters (like Mr. Meowgi) Just a thought. And if someone posts 'but so-and-so started it'.. then good luck with that one, cause I'm not going to argue the chicken or the egg.
they were once the most loved franchise in town and they took one of the town's favorite sons with them. You make it seem like there are ZERO Titan fans in Houston or the state of Texas. There were plenty of people still rooting for them when the Texans were just an idea that Steve Patterson (LEGENDARY ROCKET GM) thought up in Pennzoil (formerly called) Plaza. He was walking down the halls thinking of things to do for this town and some people hate on Patterson, but that's another topic. Like last year's Titans vs Texans game in HOUSTON, those people didnt drive into town, those people were from HOUSTON. So yeah, this false notion that Houston is 100% Texans fans, give me freaking break. Its a new franchise, half the people from Houston are from other towns and hold other teams in higher standing than the Texans. its because they are new, not because they've had bad seasons. Maybe in 10 years or so, the Texans would be synonymous with Houston, but its still too early. Its like The Bears fans or Eagles fans, they've been there forever, they'll show up if the teams straight up suck. Have the Texans reached that kind of family status in Houston? no. But certain members of this board think that they are. So if you like the Titans, feel free to cheer like you did for Steve McNair, Eddie George etc. Hell you can cheer for both teams. Its not like either team are as important in history of this city as the Beloved Houston Rockets, which are #1 overall cause they did do something special and they never left town and they didn't piss off the fans.
HOLY SH*T I got tinman to post a serious response. ladies and gentlemen, I can die a happy man. goodnight.
