Jordan had a broken foot in 1985, he came back and led his team to the playoffs even though the bulls were 30-52.
Learn to use possessive apostrophes before you ever type them out again... Michael Jordan, the "legend", is more a WHINER than a quitter, and he quits PLENTY. tinman, do not defend the guy whose face got a talking-to by #11 plenty of times.
VY will be back! the only analogy is that MJ made it back in time for the playoffs, which I think the Titans will make despite VY. VY needs to sit down and rewatch the Clutch City DVDs and notice that when the Rockets were labeled by their own media Choke City, they looked inside and the tough guy came out. He'll needs to learn from the Rockets to be a hero again..either that or have lunch with Ron Artest.
I lost some confidence in you, tinman; to associate this guy who sits on the bench and refuses to play in a game... with anything Clutch City stood for... is blasphemy, brother... blasphemy and sacrilege, I tells ya.
he has a heart of a champion and is an avid Rockets fan, therefore I support him! don't hate him cause he gets those nice front row seats like Dakota
VY should be very thankful. Just imagine the pressure on him if he was doing this as a Houston Texan.
I think hes thankful for not being on a team that has never made the playoffs and will not make it within the near future. The texans obviously made the right choice and kept carr that year and are happy with their QB play
I know you are a titans fan and I respect that. The titans have a good team, a good defense and a great coach. But VY is not a good quarterback. And any NFL team who drafts a bust quarterback that highly and overpays him will pay for it eventually, just like the Texans did with Carr.
as a huge titans fan and ut alum, i can say that vince has not stepped up his game. he has not applied himself to learn the nfl ways. but in his defense, his wide receivers and pass-catching backs do indeed suck. did you see the clip of the play where he got injured? watch how he hits lendale white right in the hands and ol' tubby drops the ball. that happens on a regular basis with justin gage, his so-called #1. he also hasn't been given very much trust from jeff fisher, who is notorious for a run-first offense. vince is very much an emotional player... he will shut down if he's not given the opportunity to freewheel a little bit. vy needs to shape up. he could be legendary if he had some decent receivers and spent more time watching film.
the irony is vick was a better passer statiscally to this point. i understand your point about people thinking vince was going to be a better passer, but there are two reasons for that. vince was a pretty good passer in college, and secondly his height. I still believe he will improve, but i am starting to worry about some of the attitude issues which i honestly never thought i'd see with him. he's got to learn he's on another level now and it will not be easy
That sux for him and the Titans, however, I think Collins would do a better job at running the offense, the way its suppose to be run...
I know what would the team do if they had already made the playoffs and had a probowl QB in his first year. That would be horrible to have a winner at the QB position. DD
again, kerry collins has a history, this isn't matt leinart and warner, this is so funny that people's memories are so short kerry started in 06, the same team vince played with, a bad record, a 42 qb rating 1 td to 6 int he is neither a short nor long term option
