I said this in another thread but, we could have had the OROY and the DROY, but no, we had to have Mario
Wow, cool, really?? R U SERIOUS? THat's crazy. Never heard that one. Not even on the 1st page of this thread. OMG. Seriously, put this in the Hangout... (the Tracy Murray rule works cause he's not currently on another team. i.e. we could post about William Fuller in here, cause he's a former Oiler that's not on the Eagles anymore. We don't post about Steve McNair here cause he's a Raven.)
I'm totally biased but I think Maurice Drew should have gotten it. Young is certainly deserving though. Looks like he may actually turn out better than Akili Smith
UH does get posted here. There's a thread for the UH/S. Carolina game here and there was a thread for the CUSA championship game. I don't know if you know this, but the Titans/Oilers franchise is the same one that produced Rookie of the Years Earl Campbell and Eddie George.
Yeah, but if he were truly clutch city, he would have worn Sam Cassell's (and his own) #10, instead of Scotty Brooks's #1. C'mon, Vince! Scotty didn't even get any playing time in the '94 finals!
Well deserved...Not sure if there was really any competition, I mean, he just wins games and makes players around him better...
He would only be third on my list, behind Colston. Vince deserved it, you cant deny that. I think VY is more deserving of an exception than than Steve. Who cares if it is in this forum
Where did I deny it? I was just pointing out that there were other competitors for the award as well. It's not as clear-cut as the 6ers would believe. And yeah, that's the VYOFs new nickname. The 6ers.
I forgot the . I like VY, it's the worshipers that annoy me. It's like loving God, but not liking Pat Robertson.
