No we don't, but it's pretty clear whatever he's asking the Rockets won't be willing to hand out. That's the reason for the speculation this will be his one only with the Rox.
Somebody had the numbers for when Artest played without t-mac and they were pretty impressive. I like Artest, he's a competitor, T-Mac on the other hand, well you know. If we do trade a declining T-Mac for healthy Vince then maybe that's what we need to go all the way! Yao / Hayes Scola / Landry Artest / Battier Vince / Von Wafer Alston / Brooks
Artest is going to leave, the rockets have to do something, this deal is not great, but it is ok for me since VC has only three years left after the team option. VC and Tmac on the same team again, the whole world is just too small.
I agree with this, we must get something back for Artest, but Carter<Artest/Landry. meh. I'm more upset about losing Landry, but whateva, we better win a title and win it fast.

Boone is good shot blocker, rebounder, and more athletic than Scola. However if you thought Chuck Hayes shooting free throws was painful to watch you haven't seen the hack a Boone strategy yet.
Yea, I could still live with gaining the size down low and I believe Boone was a former Big East defensive player of the year. But losing Landry would hurt. Your right though, the kid can't shoot free throws to save his life.

Either way the Nets ultimately get tons of cap space either this summer or in 2010 which is their real target anyway. TMac doesn't have to play a game for NJ for this deal to work for them. But if TMac is seriously injured, the Rockets may have to sweeten the deal.
