I went to a Bucks-Rockets game back in the day in Milwaukee, after they'd put up their new arena. Their selling point back then was that they had the best forward tandem in the NBA, Vin and Big Dog. Was actually probably an accurate statement at the time, but kinda funny to think about today. Those guys fell way, way off.

I think it's funny how we have such abundance of has been big men. We have Deke, Spoon, Baker and Howard who were all once big name stars that are now our role players. Not saying it's a bad thing, just kind of interesting.

Totally agree. Not an appropriate thread title by any means, and considering that there isn't really a message or point to the post, I think this should probably be locked up.

I am sure Baker will enjoy being here and he can get help if he needs it from John Lucas. I have a feeling Baker will prove some wrong by playing some productive minutes.

Haven't seen this posted, but looks like Vin has been sober for at least a year and is working hard at staying that way. Let's give him some support and hope he can contribute.

    He's Calling For More Minutes

    Let's go Vin.

I seriously doubt Vin Baker has anything for us at this stage of his career. However, Vin Baker is really skilled if he stays sober Yao Ming and TMac can make him look good just like Howard is doing now.

Mutumbo is different, even though he's old, he remained very effective (defensively) before he came to Houston.
