Just to remind everyone: Okay, here are the rules: Vote on the following matchups, using your own criteria on who would win in a battle to the death between the two. Remember, whoever is the higher seed (in this case, the lower the number, the higher the seed) has the home field advantage. What does this mean? It means that Freddy Krueger gets to fight his opponents in the dream world (if he is the higher seed) and Agent Smith gets to fight his opponents inside the Matrix. Voting is for the East, West, Midwest and Southeast Regions, Second Round and you have to get your vote to me by 1:00 P.M., CST Friday, November 14. My votes are as follows: Darth Vader has no problem with the Wolfman Freddy struggles but beats Michael Myers since they are in the dreamworld Regan MacNeil wins a close one over Dracula In a huge upset, Darth Maul uses his double-edged light sabre and knocks Jason Voorhies into a bottomless pit Damian has a tougher time than he did in the first round but is able to knock out Grendel's Mother The Juggernaut is not afraid of King Kong, but nonetheless, the huge gorilla is able to shake off attacks from Juggy to win Dr. Doom's gadgets run out against the T1000, sealing his fate as a loser Godzilla has to work a little bit, but wins handily over the Mummy Agent Smith has all kinds of problems with the Blob, but he does find a way to eek out a victory Magneto uses his magnetism powers to take away Boba Fett's weapons and wins easily Billy the Kid's bullets are ineffective against the Alien who slices and dices the gunslinger The Terminator ends Grendel's stay in the tourney Pennywise, since he is pure evil, is able to change his form into a huge spider and beat Dr. Octopus Khan has his way with the killer doll, Chucky The Predator quickly discovers Frankenstein's Monster's weakness for fire and wins going away In a huge upset, Lex Luthor figures out a way to de-program HAL to pull off a stunning victory.

Odd matchup, never really seen Juggy up against a giant before... 6 - Dr. Doom 3 - T1000 Doom is too crafty to not find a way. True, they're in the Matrix (though how they'd manage to jack The Blob in, I have no clue ), but as Morpheus said, that world is based on rules. If an agent is shot in the head, agent dies. This is no different. I don't know enough about some of the villans to make a choice. I could guess if you'd like. It might help if you put a quick summary of these guys because I don't really know Grendel, Dr. Octupus, and Khan (among others). I just don't want to make an uneducated vote when others may know better then I.
I understand. Grendel was a huge monster in the literary classic, "Beowulf". Dr. Octopus is a Spider-Man villain who has huge tentacles for arms while Khan is a Star Trek villain (I think he is like a cyborg or something but not for sure). If you don't feel comfortable voting, then don't vote.

West - Second Round 1 - Damian 9 - Grendel's Mother Abstain 5 - Juggernaut 4 - King Kong KK. 6 - Dr. Doom 3 - T1000 DD reprograms T1000. 7 - The Mummy 2 - Godzilla The Mummy. It will be tough bringing down Zilla with locusts and other plagues, but his supernatural powers will keep Mummy from actually having to be within Zilla's line of sight. Zilla can't crush what Zilla can't find. Southeast - Second Round 1 - Agent Smith 9 - The Blob AS. After having the E of the O from revolutions, AS finds a way to stop blob in Matrix. 5 - Boba Fett 4 - Magneto Fett, you're the man, but you're outclassed. 11 - Billy the Kid 3 - The Alien Alien has a nice midafternoon brunch. 10 - Grendel 2 - The Terminator Arnold. Midwest - Second Round 1 - Pennywise 9 - Dr. Octopus Penny is too much for Oct 12 - Chucky 4 - Khan Brains over knife. 6 - Frankenstein's Monster 3 - The Predator Predator easily 10 - Lex Luthor 2 - HAL Lex. He's hold him off until the sun came out and then would go "I find your lack of faith disturbing" on his @ss...or he would simply mince him with his saber. 5 - Michael Myers 4 - Freddy Krueger In or out of the dream world, Freddy would disembowel Myers...although it would be a fight in the real world. 6 - Dracula 3 - Regan MacNeil Wow...Since Dracula does not possess a soul, Regan's demon can not possess him and Dracula lowers his guard looking at the eay kill, but Regans demon uses his powers to hurl a piece of wood through Drac's heart ending this match. 10 - Darth Maul 2 - Jason Voorhies All I have to say about this one is Slice and Dice!!! West - Second Round Damian 9 - Grendel's Mother Damian cuts loose with an evil never before seen and Grendel's mom becomes Damian's b!tch. 5 - Juggernaut 4 - King Kong In brute force, Kong has the edge, but Juggernaut actually outsmarts him, takes him again high up in a tower and then knocks him off to his death. 6 - Dr. Doom 3 - T1000 Doom takes to long trying to figure out what to do and gets the pointy finger right between the eyes. 7 - The Mummy 2 - Godzilla Sizzle....Stomp... Southeast - Second Round 1 - Agent Smith 9 - The Blob Blob completely engulfes Smith. Smith can't figure out to use cold. All Smith knows is fighting. 5 - Boba Fett 4 - Magneto Magneto disarms Boba Fet of his metal armor and weapons, but being an intergalactic assasin, BF has acquired a variety of weapons that are not metal and uses his skills as an assasin to take out Magneto before he uses BF own weapons against him 11 - Billy the Kid 3 - The Alien Billy's six shooters aren't enough and The Alien is done in under 10 seconds. 10 - Grendel 2 - The Terminator T-101 does to Grendel exactly what Beowulf did to Grendel. Midwest - Second Round 1 - Pennywise 9 - Dr. Octopus Pennywise opens up wide and bites Doc Oc's skull in half. 12 - Chucky 4 - Khan Chucky is a doll of goodness sakes. 6 - Frankenstein's Monster 3 - The Predator Predator rips Frankensteins lumbering monster to shreds. The monster never even sees it coming. 10 - Lex Luthor 2 - HAL Lex is a genius. He outsmarts Hal and shuts him down.

1 - Darth Vader *** Vader dismembers the Wolfman with his lightsaber, effectively killing him, though he may technically still live (no silver in a lightsaber). 9 - Wolfman 5 - Michael Myers *** Since Myers has no fears, Freddy's normal tactics fail him, he is beaten just as Jason beat him in FvJ 4 - Freddy Krueger 6 - Dracula *** In an upset, the count beats the Prince of Darkness because Satan is fighting by proxy. None of the stuff that happened in the Exorcist would be especially worrisome to a vampire. 3 - Regan MacNeil 10 - Darth Maul *** In a big upset, the inkillable killing machine is hacked into tiny bits. Although he is later somehow ressurected (as per usual) I feel that the initial killing met the requirements of a battle to the death. 2 - Jason Voorhies 1 - Damian 9 - Grendel's Mother *** Damien seemed very killable, and it was the unwillingness of those around him to harm him that kept him safe. GM would not have such problems. 5 - Juggernaut *** In a minor upset, big J whoops Kong, who was shown to be vulnerable to injury. His dependence on size and strength hurt him in this matchup. 4 - King Kong 6 - Dr. Doom *** I am going with the good doctor, who somehow uses his magic to edge out the machine. 3 - T1000 7 - The Mummy 2 - Godzilla *** After escaping from Sinestro somehow with a victory, the mummy is no match for Gorjiha 1 - Agent Smith 9 - The Blob *** No amount of bullet dodging would save Smith from a slow digestion at the hands of this amorphous enemy. Lack of proven ability to control the weather in the first film prevents him from freezing the blob. 5 - Boba Fett *** Magneto is great against bullets, but Boba uses lasers and flame throwers. Assuming he is able to get off a shot, he takes the victory here. 4 - Magneto 11 - Billy the Kid 3 - The Alien *** Billy is scared sh!tless upon seeing a nightmarish creature and his low powered old west style weapons are no match. 10 - Grendel 2 - The Terminator *** In the end, a human with a sword was able to kill Grendel, so a robot should not have trouble reproding that result. 1 - Pennywise 9 - Dr. Octopus *** Doc Ock tears the freakin' clown limb from limb. 12 - Chucky 4 - Khan *** Khan targets Chucky with starship phasers and the battle is over before it begins. 6 - Frankenstein's Monster 3 - The Predator *** The golem is much to slow and dependent upon melee combat to defeat the predator. His reattached head is once again removed from its mismatched body. 10 - Lex Luthor 2 - HAL *** Uh oh, Lex has come up against an opponent he cannot manipulate. HAL slowly removes the oxygen from the environment, letting Lex slip off to oblivion.
