Okay, I have compiled the field for the first ever villain tournament, something that was inspired by twhy77's thread about fights.

I decided to make Q, Galactus, Beyonder, etc, or other all powerful beings ineligible to compete because it wouldn't be fun to see them dominate.

I still have to come up with seedings, but here are the entrants. I don't want hear any complaints about so and so not making it. They can compete in the Villain NIT tournament.:)

Dracula, Wolfman, Dr. Jekyll, Phantom of the Opera
Frankenstein's Monster, the Mummy, the Blob, Pinhead
Gort (the 8 foot alien from "The Day the Earth Stood Still"), Godzilla, King Kong, Chucky (from "Child's Play)
Jason Voorhies, Freddy Krueger, Michael Myers, Leatherface
Damian (aka the Antichrist from "The Omen"), Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Khan
Dr. Doom, Magneto, Lex Luthor, The Joker
Jack the Ripper, O. J. Simpson, Charles Manson, Ted Bundy
Cujo the Dog, The Birds (from Hitchcock's movie), Norman Bates, Jack Torrance
HAL, Bullseye (from Daredevil), Green Goblin, The Juggernaut
Agent Smith, Kingpin, Jeffrey Dahmer, Pennywise (clown from "It")
Oddjob, Jaws (from James Bond), Billy the Kid, Sinestro
Loki (from Thor), Minotaur, Grendel, Grendel's Mother
The Terminator, The T1000 (from T2), The Predator, The Alien
Hannibal Lechter, Buffalo Bill, Jesse James, Dr. Octopus
Darth Maul, Bizarro, Wicked Witch of the West, Regan MacNeil (from "The Exorcist")
Tony Camonte (from Scarface), Nurse Ratched, Annie Wilkes (from "Misery"), Travis Bickle (from "Taxi Driver")

I'll try to figure out seedings and post the first bracket sometime tonight.

This will be just like the best poster tournament...you vote on a matchup, ex Darth Vader vs Darth Maul. Whoever gets the most votes, moves on to the next round. When you vote on this, try to vote for who you think would win in a fight. If you pick an underdog, try to explain why you think that they would win (example, why would Jack Torrance be able to beat Darth Vader?).

I don't know Manny, there are an awful lot of these buggers...

Maybe you should thin it out...there are an awful lot of names upon this list.... Just make a definitive bracket with some blanks for good wild cards that come along....amd then make a hero thread because good always trumps evil....

Also....I'd like it if there were more comic book characters. But maybe thats just because I'm a cynic.

Yea, you are right. It is Montana. I got some of these off the AFI's top 50 heroes and villains and for some reason, they had his name as Tony Camonte. But it is Al Pacino's character.

Hey! What about Cobra Commander, Megatron, and Skeletor?

You're ignoring a very important genre!

OH MAN. Time to school A-Train. Q is this dude from Star Trek:TNG, who pretty much plays God with the crew, and especially Captain Picard. He can freeze time and he does anything he wants to whomever he wants whenever he wants. He's awesome. He was played by John de Lancie.

The Joker is in there. twhy77, I don't want to do a hero thread. We can do that later or someone else can do it...I just want to concentrate on villains.

And yea, some of the choices are somewhat weak, but you have to have some sacrificial lambs in the beginning.
