    About time.

Now release Favre and the Vikings can be respectable again.

Figures.....oh well, he should not be out of a job long as he was a pretty good OC for the Eagles.

Frazier is the guy I wished the Texans would have gone after but sure doesn't look that way now.

It's too bad the Texans don't play the Green Bay Packers next Sunday, really.

If they cut Favre now, will he be owed the rest of the season's game checks? Whatever is left to pay of the 20 million is still a lot.

They would have to put him on waivers and if nobody claims him (I can't imagine who would), they would owe him the rest of his salary for this season.

Agreed, they should bench him though, and if he balks at it, suspend him.

Vikings aren't going to bench Favre because that would be dumb as hell.

First off your seasons done with, your paying Favre 20 million dollars, and he still puts people in the seats. Plus he is considered a football legend.

No way he gets benched on that team.

The reason to bench him would be to figure out what you have in Tavaris Jackson and get him back to being a starter. You need to know if he'll be your QB of the future next year or if you need to start over and find something else.

They ran AP 15 times yesterday... and its obvious that Favre has taken over the team by changing the plays at the line and what not.

Childress should have been gone for not having control of the team but Favre isn't going anywhere, hopefully Frazier knows how to get the ball to his best player.

It's sad how fast the Vikings stopped being about Peterson. Hopefully Frazier benches Favre and doesnt let the resulting 100+ hours of press bother him about it.

This was inevitable. I figured he might have one more game but it doesn't surprise me that Childress was fired.
