I was there last night and I ran into The Summit. Who else made it there? I thought it was an interesting set up they had. It was like they were trying to simulate being at the game, but I just couldn't get myself to chant "Defense" at a TV screen. I can yell and cheer when the Rockets make a good play, but some of the chants during the play that I'd yell loud for in the Compaq Center felt silly at the viewing party. That's just my humble viewpoint, what did everyone else who went think of the viewing party? Anyone win some of the prizes from the trivia, or set up a date with a Power Dancer? B
I thought the setup was pretty nice. But I could have done without the drummer boys. The power dancers looked outstanding, but thats nothing new. I ran into B and I saw Chance there when they introduced him during one of the timeouts, and thats all I saw from BBS Members. The free Yanjing Beer was nice!
Amen to that! Keep them at the games and don't let them out of the Compaq Center. Drums during a TV game are just too much for me. B
