    Watching the old Yao vids, would Yao have had a longer, healthier career had he not bulked up and banged inside but rather continued on a more versatile trajectory?

    There is no way yao could have ever been a dominant player had he not bulked up... Longer career...maybe... better career.....???

    Maybe I remember things differently, but I don't recall Yao and Mac being problems for us in those series. I DO recall everyone else on the floor not doing anything to help. (Looking at you Rafer, Head, Howard!!!)

    Very true. Dawson did a good job trading for T-mac but screwed up the supporting cast for Yao and Mac during their prime. Had Morey been the GM back then, who knows what the Rockets teams of 04-05, 06-07, 07-08 could've achieved.

    I hate thinking about what might have been. Kills me.

    Yao is true C and Dwight Howard is a true PF. The videos show what Yao could do when healthy and it is why the Rockets will not give up on the big fella. Here is hoping he can get healthy and make that come back.
