He was playing harder, the lack of competitiveness of these scrimmages is pretty strange. You hear stories about how MJ wanted to win at everything and he drove the rest of the guys to compete. We don't have that type of leadership and it shows in these scrimmages. DD
I think they don't respect McHale as much as they respected Adelman. Either that or the players are less interested in basketball, and more interested in themselves ($$$, winning championships, and avoiding injuries) after this grueling lock out.

Well, Morey got shafted by the league. What Morey did (or almost did) to Kmart was completely legal and acceptable.
