Obviously I haven't read the contract, but the way it is described here, http://rockets.clutchfans.net/2207/samuel-dalemberts-contract-a-brief-analysis/, it sounds like it is a two-year deal, with the second year of the deal only partially guaranteed. To me that does not sound like he can opt out. Other sites like Hoopshype list it as a team option. ESPN also calls it a team option: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/7...-rockets-samuel-dalembert-reach-two-year-deal

It was reported as a team option next year, I think.

I didn't see the game so I don't know if it was mentioned on the broadcast, but Dalembert reverse dribbled through his legs to pull off that spin move.

I also haven't seen a single comment about it in this thread so I'm wondering if most people didn't even notice.

I actually had to watch the replay a few times to catch it, and I don't think it was mentioned in the telecast.

    Slick move.

THank God for Dalembert. If he wasn't there, K-Mart's missed layup who have gone back to the Hornets for the last shot of the game! Sam saved kmarts butt

Well if Kmart wasn't there they would have had the possession anyway, When Lee poked it out it would have gone out of bounds.

All three of those guys played a part on the win, no need to rag on Kmart when he was trying to go for the win.

Well it was not exactly a smart move on his part to force that shot....ask Clyde, he should know all about going to early, and the cost of that.

    Stockton for 3hreeeeeee

I read a comment somewhere in here or the game thread, but thought they were referring to another play...completely missed it. I think we were looking at the possible hooking foul instead.

I don't think it's an obvious foul because he didn't use the forearm/hand to gain position and even with the elbow he didn't completely wrap it around to Okafor's back.

Yao used to dominate this guy and some fans here still thought Yao was the reason Rockets couldn't get deep into playoffs.

I have to disagree. One he barely grazed him, that other dude should have boxed out and refs allow harder play during playoffs.
