    Totally true. I havent been able to subscribe since I have had the time nor was I in one place long enough during the nba season (been moving a lot lately) but compared to other game packages this one is a steal

    nfl sunday ticket is nearly 300 bucks. and if you get superfan that nearly 400. there are what 16 games a week? you get to watch anyone you want, yes but its only one day a week. The monday night games and soon to be thurs/sat games you would have already had.

    league pass is 180 and you have a game pretty much every night till playoff season starts. I am surprised that the price is still 180 because they give you league pass broadband as well. this is a great deal

    sure it's a great deal when compared with other ridiculously priced packages, but it costs them next to nothing to offer it to you. they already have the rights to all the games so they don't pay for that.

    First of all, let me just say you are my favorite poster on this BBS. My current job has me on the road all the time and of course, being on the road means no way to watch the Rockets. Thanks to you, I can watch my team (even though its a 1 day delay) anywhere I can plug into the internet which thankfully most decent hotels have. Anyway, just wanted you to know that your service of providing the games over the internet is tremendous and is highly appreciated.

    and the highlight is at 9414 downloads right now.



    To any and all that get discouraged about long downloads.

    Its really tought with bittorrent to get an accurate guage of how long it really takes since the client takes some time to establish which of yoru peers are the fastest.

    and sometimes when all you have are slow seeders, it is just slow.

    like right now...there are almost 1000 seeders on the full game...if you arent gettting a pretty good tramsfer rate...it could be your connection could use tweaking to work better with bittorrent (mainly applies to those on highspeed with routers on their internet connection)


    ie: tracker down....judging by the time of the posts...it was right around the time we were getting storms out here...it is entirely possible the connection went down.
    For times like those...a dht-enabled client would help keep you downloading even without a tracker. I believe it was mentioned a few posts back...you might want to check into that.

    Your client should have some way of letting you know what your transfer ratio is....(amount uploaded vs amount downloaded) It is generally considered polite to upload as much as you download

    if everyone did that...no one would have trouble getting it as long as they try while the swarm ( all seeders and peers combined ) is active.

    The video quality is very bad here, if a player is standing still its ok but if he's running it gets all blurry. I'm using media player classic and had xvid codec installed. Is it just me or everyone else has the same problem?

    Thanks for the vid, finally got to see a full Rockets game for the first time in a decade, just got the highlights of the Grizzlies game.

    From what I can see, over 6300 people are trying to download it right now with only about 14 people sharing the entire thing.

    I'm one of them but noone's downloading from me, I'll expect them to begin downloading from me when they get near to completing the file so I'll keep Seeding until I can no longer afford to.

    Since im a rookie in this forum i cant post so i can only say it here...

    does anyone have or know where i can get the full game vid of houston-dallas series 2004 game 1 and 2? it would be awesome cuz i want to see that action again so bad.

    Not sure. It worked fine with me. You can try to either:

    1. Click "save as" on the torrent link, and save it on your compuer. Then double-click on the saved torrent.
    2. Copy the link and open up your client and go to File / Open torrent url (or something like that).

    One of those should work if you've got your client installed correctly.

    I was wondering the same thing about the quality. I only downloaded the highlights so I can't speak for the full game file, but it was very "muddy" for lack of a better term.

    Trust me, I'm not complaining at all, but I was curious because I haven't noticed the quality being that low on other files from R2K.

    That's channel 51 in Houston for you. Seems like everyone agrees that it's reception is awful, even for cable subscribers. They'll get a handful of games this year, so this will crop up every now and again.

    Hmm...seems like more than that though. I mean, the quality on there is horrible and I've been aware of that for years (FSN isn't much better) but R2K's highlight video almost looks like a watercolor painting or something.

    I noticed the changes too. But R2K mentioned earlier that he was using a different encoder hence there might be some fine-tuning on the software settings needed to be done. I am confident that it would be fixed before the regular season begins.

    Anyone tried the media players recommended by R2K? Did the Hawks game video look better when played by those software?
