Does that have any special implication? I'm 25. Mostly, I play online games and PS2 sport games, start a season and play with friends: Madden (every year), MVP Baseball (every year), NBA Live (every year)
OK, well this thread is making me feel better. So how do you married guys get away with playing? Anyone married with kids play a lot?
23, finally coming around to playing my XBOX more now that I have more 'recent' games! Right now I'm playing Paintball Max'd with lil bro it's pretty cool, and also playing GTA San Andreas but every once in awhile since I'm trying to take over all the territories before I move on. I also play WC3 Frozen throne with some friends every now and then..As far as the married question, I'm not, but there is some "you're not listening to me" gf that always nags on the phone when I play...I don't think there is anyone talented enough to play and have a converstation on the phone at the same time!
29 PC - World of Warcraft - 30+ hours a week, Civ 4 Gamecube - Mario Golf, Baiten Kaitos PS2 - Dragon Quest 8, Phantom Brave XBox - Fable, Fusion Frenzy PSP - Hot Shots Golf, Generations of Chaos GBA - Final Fantasy Tactics
My wife is pretty cool about it. If there's nothing on TV, I turn the game on. I don't pull all nighters anymore, but I don't really have the desire to.
36, married, two kids. Play mainly only PC games late at night. ESPN Poker Club, Axis and Allies, Shattered Union (I love laying waste to Dallas), I just bought Stronghold 1 and Tropico in the same CD set for $9.99. Last year I finished GTA III, but got bored with Vice City. I have never bothered to purchase San Andreas and instead went back to simulation / turn based games. I also have an Atari II that I got for Christmas. I break that out occasionally and play it with my five year old. Sometimes simple is fun.
I think a better question would be: Does video game playing prevent you from getting laid? If so, no matter the age, you need to put down the controller. If not, then you are probably okay.
I'm married, play PC games mostly, and some x-box games too. I got my wife hooked on gaming while we were still dating. She was the one that talked me into getting an x-box. One of our favorite things to do is take a weekend and devote it to some game playing. Even on Oblivion one person will man the controls, and we both make decisions about where to go and what to do next as a team. I also just started my own solo character, and she is going to start one as well.
nah, just seems like lately that's what takes up my time. work, hanging out w/ppl and watching some tv...and then when i'm at home, i feel like i should be cleaning up rather than doing anything else (like the games). If I get a feeling, i'll go buy one and play it during all my free time at home for about 4-6 weeks (instead of cleaning, eating..maybe sometimes instead of going out)
I'm 19. I prefer RPGs (of any type), but I'll play any game of high quality (FPS like Halo, action games like God of War, action/adventure games like Ico, strategy games like AOE, etc.). I'll also play sports games, although I've been getting out of those lately; I'll probably pick it back up in a year or so when EA and Take Two have had enough time with next-gen hardware. I spend a good amount of time on PC, console, and handheld games, usually in cycles. I just recently got a new PC, so I'll probably be playing some PC games I missed out on due to not being able to play them properly...after I'm done with Oblivion anyway. FYI, I think I read somewhere that the average age of a gamer is 29.
I just bought my first XBox (not a 360) a few weeks ago and want to change my Xbox Live profile name but have no idea where to do it if it's even possible. Games I have: Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter Project Gotham Racing NFL 2K5 (bought for $4) Forza Motorsports MLB 2K5
37 - PS2 - GTA, Madden and assorted other sports games. I'd like to play more but my kids aren't quite old enough and they take all my time so I bet I only play 2 hours a month right now.
I'm 23.5 and I play mainly comic book RPG's like Prince of Persia, X-men, Spiderman, yadda yadda yadda.
My Uncle is 67 and he bought a PS2 last year and has been playing it everyday since. Every time I stop by for a visit if he's not in his workshop then he's inside playing some jet fighter game and giggling. He has a couple of different jet fighter games but I think Ace Combat is the one he plays the most.
It's not. Your only choice would be to stop paying for that account and open a new one, which would lose all of your rankings. I'm 22. Mostly play Halo 2, occasionally I'll play sports games.
That's what I thought. I have a 2 month free membership that I'm on now. When that quits I'm going to rejoin with a 12 month membership that I got when I bought my headsets. Thanks.
28 now, and I've been playing Guild Wars mostly these days....gotta love that it's got no monthly online costs
