All Yao would need to do is make a subtle reference to where maybe he would consider finishing his career overseas or back in China if that is the way the NBA is going to ref the games..................nothing wakes up Stern and his cronies like the loss of a huge money cow.

    I love it.

Yao is not a sympathetic figure in the media.

I doubt any amount of public outcry will help.

About damn time...he's been getting screwed for so long...he gets beat up night in and night out and the refs just watch, but they're quick to call offensive fouls on him...absolutely pathetic nba officiating...he should've been more inflammatory in his criticism so that he would get fined...that way there would be more attention brought to this.

    I'm in total agreement.

I would also go for him getting 6 offensive fouls before halftime to make a point to the league.

The officiating on him is total BS. But it won't change because Yao is Mr. Nice Guy. He needs to read that book "No more Mr. Nice Guy".

I couldn't agree more. Just take it in as strong as he can everytime like Shaq. It would be worth him fouling out one game early on just to make that exact point.

    This is what i fear...

The media may discuss on the national tv and you have Charles Barkley saying Yao is too soft doesnt play like a man, Stephen A Smith screaming Dwight Howard is far better center than Yao, Tim Legler thinks Rockets won't win with a whiny Yao and on and on and on..................

Well ESPN didn't show it. Of course though Lebron got his own highlight reel then any NBA coverage was put to a stop once news breaks about T.O.

If Yao woulda cursed this would have been a news story on PTI and such, like I said...he shoulda thrown a few F bombs in there just in case.

He would have been fined yeah...but if the result is Refs waking up then so be it.

Do yall think that ESPN will talk about Yao's complaints? I think they would seriously debate the whole "getting fined" for flopping at the beginning of the year, and besies, its not the first time national media has called out the Jazz for flopping ;) . And the j*zz complain about why Jerry Sloan has never been coach of the year....

Is it possible for clutchfans.net to communicate with players?

I'd like to tell Yao to play the rest of the season aggressively and physically like Shaq in the day.. they call an offensive?? who cares.. keep playing hard.. go after them.. back them down.. if they flop, step over them and dunk it.

Then, if he fouls out.. fans will stop going to games.. and the nba will lose money and hopefully file Ch. 11 from stupid contracts such as Marbury and Tmac.

Yao just needs to go crazy, and I don't mean start fouling people like crazy. I mean he needs to just let the refs have it. The next time the refs make a bad call on you, Yao, go Lou Piniella on them. Just start yelling at them and losing your mind. THEN people will start to notice.

Yao is seen as a "nice" guy. He gets pushed around a lot. That's what led to him being one of the worst officiated players in the league, so now it is time to make headlines. Go crazy Yao. If you get ejected, to hell with it. I'm sure your fellow Rockets players will be able to pick up the slack for one game.

Sadly these are the times when Mark Cuban would be a good owner because if yao was a mav Cuban would be making nonstop calls to the league about the unfair treatment. As much as it pains me to say this it is true.

I wish Yao would get fined. Then it means Stern saw this video and took notice.

Anyways, the refs might change in the short term, but eventually they'll go back to calling bs fouls on Yao. I agree w/ the sentiment that Yao needs to clutch the ball on his chest w/ his elbows pointed out wide, Deke style. Swing w/ abandon, and if someone gets clipped it's on them. The only way to make them back off is to swing elbows. We obviously can't count on the refs to officiate the game right, it's just not going to happen.

Just waiting for that day when they finally awake the sleeping giant and Yao goes nuts and punches a flopper in the face.
