He still obviously isn't in great condition as of yet. And seems a bit rusty. But sooo awesome to see him play again!!! I found myself rooting for China more than the USA :)

I really hope that's the case. Getting kicked in the shin does hurt, although I don't think it warrants falling to the ground and clutching it. Maybe fatigue and paranoia made him think it was more serious than it was.

Yao Ming's foot is jacked up...

He needs to rest it if he wants to play for HOU in the early portion of the season. :(

It was obvious that Yao wasn't fully recovered. In his old self, Yao would have dominated Chris Bosh and Dwight Howard, even if he has to work harder because of the ****ty entry passes.

That was true for Boston and Russell. And may be to a lesser extent true for the Rockets this year. But it wasn't true last year. Yao was a better outside shooter than most of the rest of the team.

Even so, he is a better scorer inside than outside, and if we have problems with Yao playing soft why would we want him to play even softer by taking more perimeter J's?

well i hope Yao was limited because of the injury, is effort on the boards was horrible at best.

It tells us how bad Rockets were in shooting. Yao is a very mediocre jump shooter and he was still better than half of the team.

It is very possible that Yao did not put much effort on that game. It was just a practice game for China. we will see a different Yao when the game matters.

best play of the game by Yao after his opening 3:

there was a play where he set a wicked pick on deron williams who was trying to close out on a 3 point shooter on the baseline. yao set a pick and deron went flying down. Boozer tried to push yao around on the following the play but he couldnt move yao at all.

proud of the way yao played I hope he'll be able to take some rest to fully heal the fracture during the season..fewer minutes or just not playing at all in a game that the team should win without him. just have him good to go for the playoffs.

haha...I noticed Yao put a little extra into the picks on d-will and cp3...coincedince?

at the same time...it looked like they were caught off guard by the moving screens...thats a big man right there

watching China's guards make me miss Rafer Alston...
man if Alston is on China's team they would probably lose by single digits :p
