    AB with two hockey assists. Like Adelman said in the post game interview you don't have to score to make a play. Great execution by Scola, Yao, and AB.

    yao's a premiere passer- period.

    remember his rookie season, the skip pass to SF3, and little stevie nearly danced out of his shorts he was so excited to have a big man who could pass like that?

    JVG was so intent on turning Yao into Ewing that he never let that aspect of Yao's game develop. With Sikma, I was hoping for more of this, but it's been a long time coming. let's hope it's a long time gone as well.

    Yao should start doing that more often, that totally catches defenses off-guard.

    NO one was under the basket and Scola and another player were wide open on both plays.

    I'm still looking at those plays in total awe...

    For some reason, you don't see those type of plays often in the NBA.

    I think in the second one, the Spurs were expecting Bruce Bowen to rotate off Artest to cover Scola, but Artest did a fantastic job sealing him off. Great execution all around.

    That pick-and-pop play is there for Yao almost every time, but you never see it because up until this game, he would always roll to the basket. Let's hope Yao will leave behind the JVG mindset and start playing some basketball! :D
