I almost made this exact post.

You definitely can't get too excited about a preseason performance against the Memphis Grizzlies.

At best this guy can be the new Steve Novak, but this team is already too stacked with "guys who need some minutes".

Too many holes in his game for my comfort.

LOL. His shooting style. I don't expect him to average 25ppg on 40% from 3pt.

So a guy hit 7 3-pointers in an unimportant game. I once hit 7 3's in the local church gym. I'd be more impressed if Von hit 7 of those with Battier in his face during practice.

    Drop him.

I don't think you want Head, Brooks, Rafer shooting 3's they suck at that

Thanks for the video, Clutch. I hope you can do a lot of these during the season. I didn't get to watch the game, but from the clips you showed, not only was I impressed with Von Wafer and Brooks, but I saw some solid ball movement and some good picks from Luis Scola. Scola didn't get an assist every time, but he made the extra pass that helped Wafer nail a couple of those treys.

The last shot from Von Wafer was TOUGH.

So you want him to shoot 7 3's like the last one he made?

He reminds me of Sam Mack.

"MAN, aaron brooks is A PROBLEM man. maann, aaron brooks is a problem...he's a problem"

    i love the quote

but yeah that was pretty sweet

his form sorta reminds me of mike james, but he jumps higher.
and it's different cuz his shots actually go in.

What's with all the hate on Brooks? Did anybody else notice that a lot of those three's were wide open, and that they came off of Brooks penetrating and passing the ball back out?

This was far from a bad game for Brooks, and Wafer did the classy thing by giving him props in the post-game interview. This is what Brooks brings that Alston doesn't--the ability to break down opposing defenses with his speed and ability to get into the paint.
