Ok, first of all, if you have eyes you know that the Jazz are the dirtiest team to ever grace a basketball court. I respect guys like Adrian Dantley and (gasp) even Stockton/Malone in the Layden era weren't as bad as they got when Sloan took over. Sloan teaches a p*ssy brand of ball that calls for cheap shots, elbows, and moving screens and then on the other end of the court flopping and flailing as if a grenade went off. That kind of basketball is not respectable. The thing that really gets to us as Rockets fans IS their success against us, because most of it came via their dirty style of play. At least we can sleep at night knowing the Rockets have 2 rings, and the Jazz have none, and hopefully still have 0 when I leave this earth...
Could not have summed it up better myself. While I dislike many teams, Utah's the only team I actually loathe.
Thank you everyone for the kind words. It's almost as rewarding as the hate mail I'm already getting from Jazz fan. If any of you are reading, by the way: Yes, I have a lot of free time on my hands; but no, I do not weigh 400 pounds. I'm just a skinny kid who enjoys these kind of projects. Count the rings.
In light of Utah's ass beating at the hands of Kobe tonight and their impending playoff exit, I decided this thread should be bumped. This vid is just too good.
Trying hard j*zz I say. (or should I say some "Mavs" fan who created this vid on 'Tube) Mavs are the real chokers - losing to an 8th seed and losing 4 straight in their only shot at the finals. Whattachoke.
Against the Rockets in the last game of the season in Utah, the Jazz looked like the Vintage Celtics, the Showtime Lakers, and the Bad Boy Pistons all rolled into one. I thought, "they are going to the Finals," they were in a late season surge. Well against the Lakers in game four last night, in Utah, they looked like the "little sisters of the poor." Horrible. They couldn't make shots, passes, or do almost anything right. Their finished for this season.
