In the 80's, this would be a regular playoff foul

It's too bad that we don't have anyone on our team with any back-bone
to give Chandler the old "Thy giveth thou shall receiveth"treatmant!
Here is where a Charles Oakley type comes in handy!

Tough play but I don't think Tyson meant any harm. He just gets carried away like that when he's frustrated. He chased Jeremy down after the game was over to give him a nice big friendly bear hug and more than a few words. I think they're good. :)

    Thanks for the video.

I think Lin is choosing which games to play hard. But that just means he's playing smart because it's an 80+ game season and if you play hard every game you'll end up being injured in the postseason or even during the season.

JR Smith was so hurt from the block that he fell down twice.

Still do. It was a hard foul but not dirty.

Funny, most of the times Lin gets a touch foul while making a layup, he lands on the floor. This time he gets an elbow in his grill and lands standing with a smile. Like he was saying, "Hey TC, that's all you got? Thanks for the FTs and the ball."

After riding Nowitski's coattails to the championship, he has an entitlement complex. I always thought he (and his FG%) were overrated. The last time the Rockets blew out the Knicks, he elbowed Asik in the neck, and now he flattens Lin on a drive.

The Rockets need to bait him into an ejection. Based on his behavior, it looks like it would be an easy thing to do. In fact, he should have been ejected from the first NY/Hou game for that elbow, but the refs were asleep.

Tyson was a beast last year, but inconsistent this year. I don't know what's up with him. Pacing himself for the playoffs, or nursing an injury? I don't know.

When all your points come off of dunks you better have a high fg%

I miss the days of Juwan Howard steaming in to start some pushing and shoving after fouls like these. Instead we have Asik dopily standing around.

That was a solid, hard foul...that's exactly what I would want my center to do in that situation.

Nothing wrong with that foul at all. If you watch TC closely, he didn't even bring his arms down, he kept them up.

It's not like he was purposely swinging at someone's head like some other flagrant fouls. This was just a hard body foul.

Elbow to the jaw? Well, okay, maybe in MMA.

    :)
