Not to be negative, but Tracy was 1/5 from long range and he ended up only shooting 50% from the field even though his shot was "on". I don't think he has any excuse for shooting 43% from the field again.

dude he jacked up some shots as heat check. u have to live w/ that when u have a tracy. when dude thinks he's hot, he can take some of the craziest shots.

i do agree he has to improve his shot selection at times. hopefully adelman will talk to him about that. when he's hot, go to his mid-range game. his mid-range game is a beautiful thing to watch.

The "heat checks" need to stop during the regular season. Adelman needs to put a leash on him, unlike JVG. Tracy definitely has a great mid-range game and he needs to avoid chucking 20-22 footers just inside the 3 point line. If he focused on 15-17 feet, that might solve a lot of the problem.

i agree. w/ tmac, it's about shot selection. i would prefer if he always operates in the high post like how he started the game or shoots as he goes through screens. only shoot 3s when he's pretty open (or 1-2 heat checks are ok sometimes, i mean you CANNOT put a leash on a guy. u just can't to one that's that good).

but yea, focus on the mid-range game, penetrate, and i won't be surprised if he shoots 46-48% this yr.

Sorry, but no. I don't really feel like uploading 8 clips on Youtube.

T-Mac's jumper looking silky smooth so far. I'm glad it's already working well and we don't have to wait till December for his jumpshot to come back, ala last season. That being said, I hope that he starts using Adelman's system to get to the hole, not just to get open jumpshots. I'm going to assume that he didn't want to take any unnecessary risks during the preseason, hence the no driving. I find that believing that makes me feel happier.

AVI doesn't work with Vegas, WMV does work.

i think it was just a case of him getting hot- the majority of his jumpers were contested. he didnt seem to be getting "wide open" jumpers cept for one possession where apparently all the sonics decided not to play defense.

50 % from field is a good percentage.
If you know that this is new system that his adapting on and only a preseason game you can forgive him.
But if he constantly shoots 50 % every game we'll be very lucky team...

You have to admit though that he does look to be in better shape. I think him being lighter has made him a quicker and he seems to be more confident in his offensive game.

I m a little disappointed after seeing this vid, everybody talked about how magnificent tmac was in this game, looks to me his long jumpers were just falling, that's pretty much it.

I don't care how t-mac gets it done, as long as he does...He can take as many heat-checks as he wants, but as long as the final score looks good I'm fine with it. Yeah sometimes you get frustrated but he commands so much attention, when he decides to pass it would be to a wide open player.

sometimes i wish we have 2 tmac's on the court. one can be the best facilitator, the other can be the best scorer. put yao in the middle. it's a wrap.
