If Lebron forces a shot clock violation, how do you figure they still would have definitely lost? Five seconds left, down by two with a timeout remaining is far from a hopeless situation.

it was an up and under of sorts where he lifted his pivot to get maximum seperation on the step through.

Spurs are too old, too slow, too banged up and not athletic enough to stand a chance against the Heat & LeBron James...

Oh they won...ok, forget my earlier comment.

It's Parker's team now. Pop and Duncan gave him the key.

Never did I think Parker was this good two seasons ago.
Imagine the Heat having a Nate or a prime AB as a starter or coming off the bench

Again, because he was shooting the ball with the clock winding down and Lebron all on his ass.

Agreed. LBJ stated that he wanted to tie up the ball and was surprised when TP went under his arm.

He still made a good contest on the shot, but that shot becomes far more difficult if LBJ just plays solid D. MIA would have then had the chance to go for the win.

which is why it was an incredible shot. However, by the letter of the land, it was a travel. that was my only point.

The shot was so great that people forget the Spurs were up by two before he made the shot. Had he missed, there is a good chance the clock runs out in the skirmish for the rebound (assuming SA doesn't control the rebound) before Miami can call time out.

The shot sealed the win for the Spurs but they were probably going to win either way. Miami fans need to remember that.

Also, I hope Derrick Rose was watching. Maybe he can learn that PGs don't beat Lebron by isolating at the top of the key and trying to out-quick him and then throwing up 18 ft fadeaways when that doesn't work.

No if Bron had played solid D he would have more then likely forced a shot clock violation thus stopping the clock and giving Miami the ball, or the Heat very likely could have gotten the rebound and called timeout with 3-4 seconds remaining down 2. You have no clue what would have happened. Don't act like they still probably would have won, you don't know that.
