I recorded and looking at it now and the way he go the free throw line was just doing a good job of understanding the offense on a back cut.

Better. It's only his second year but he's got superstar potential. I'm talking about McGrady, Wade, Lebron, Griffin or Carmelo type of Potential if he's unleashed.

Rudy Gay isn't a passer or defender. I think a Stephen Jackson-type player is what comes to mind for me.

I know, you have to find time for him somewhere at somebody's expense though. Too much talent to not play him.

Three or four minutes of garbage time against Portland's second string and Terrence Williams is the flavor of the day. Well, I'm happy for him regardless.

I never could see where Williams "fit" into the rotation, but, then again, I never visualized him as a PG. If he could fit there as the primary PG, we could trade Brooks or Lowry, depending on the trade partner, as the primary piece in a move to acquire a young, tall, athletic center with potential.

PG T-Williams / Lowry or Brooks
    SG K-Martin / C-Lee
    SF S-Battier / C-Budinger
    PF L-Scola / 2Pat
    C Miller / Hill

    Pine/Reserve: C-Hayes / J-Jeffries / Ish Smith / Yao Ming

Would you rather him do a crappy job against in garbage time against Portland's second string?

Wouldn't you agree that he did pretty well for what he was given?

Consider the post as a whole rather than succumb to your knee-jerk reaction. I have high hopes, as you can see, but I am not yet ready to appoint him as the messiah.

I loved the passing and ball handling in that video. Some of the shot attempts raised an eyebrow, but the passing was awesome.

I'm tired of good passers. I want to see some selfishness on this team. Attack the basket and draw the foul.

Alright. And I can see what you mean by not fitting. I think Morey adds depth with Williams to help build his hand for a major trade, either to trade Williams or to use Williams to fill gaps left by other players that may be traded away.

...and I see us making a major trade in the next 2-3 weeks.

i watch quite a few charlotte bobcats games, cos i like to follow gerald wallace. stephen jackson is a chucker. he'll take the responsibility of scoring, sometimes good, sometimes bad.

terrence really is tracy mcgrady the passer. will make the pass to put the receiver in a good position with the ball. he might get the assist, but most probably not, like in this game.

He is nice but we need a center as we could get no rebounds last night

Wasn't that the knock on Williams game up in NJ too? Took too many bad/dumb shots.

Anyhow, he played very under control in those garbage minutes he got. I'd really like to see what he has to offer against a legit 2nd team in tonight's game.

I hope that neither Williams or Budinger is traded. Williams, Martin and Budinger -- what a backcourt combo! Williams would be the slasher / disher / dunker while Martin peppers the court with his mid-range game and Bud in his role as the bomber. All three are athletic enough and skilled enough to switch roles in mix and match change-ups. Exciting.

I love our three PFs (Scola, Hill and Patterson), but we need a true center. Miller spreads the floor well with his range, but he is getting older and slower. We need a Javale McGee, Kosta Koufos, B.J. Mullens, Kyrylo Fesenko, Hassan Whiteside, DeAndre Jordan or some other young, tall, athletic. relentless, high motor center.
