With the kind of season this has been, why not? Either go crazy about what is essentially an unknown future with this guy, as some of us have here, no doubt, or simply go crazy. You gotta take what good you can find, even if that "good" might be a will-o'-the-wisp.

point taken. Just didn't expect the usual voices of reason to go that direction too.. but I guess it's been that kinda year between all the Houston/Texas teams!

Court vision is a rare commodity. People talk about size and athleticism. You know, the cliche "you can't teach height." Court vision is as unteachable as height and athleticism. That is a kind of inborn tool that is very useful for playing good basketball.

I understand the notion that you dont want to play younger guys when you still have a shot at the playoffs, but this guy can help get us wins. His ability to create for others, something we sorely lack from anyone else, and his ability to attack the basket would give us a huge help.

I agree, but for that court vision to be useful and not somewhat detrimental (in the NBA), it has to really be honed to a point much further than this video would illustrate he has gotten to. At least that's my opinion on how those skills would translate to non-garbage time play against teams that prep for him

    From the highlight:
    - He's a willing passer (unlike his ballhogging days in college, it might be him wanting to be a more of a team player to get him establish in the team)
    - Has good court vision and solid ball handling
    - A lot of work to be done still to develop him.
