Great video! Looks really smooth finishing at the rim, and everywhere else.

 

T Jones looked great tonight. His athleticism always surprises me when I watch him play. Most of his points were garbage man stuff, but he did a good job taking advantage of the defense on a few drives and knocked down that one three pointer. More importantly he played solid defense and rebounded the ball well.

I don't expect him to shoot 10/12 every night, but if he can go 5/10 with one of those made shots being a three pointer, I would be very happy with that production.

 

Thanks for the highlight. Hope TJ keeps on improving. Always loved how hard he worked last year in the D-League and this year he is getting his chance.

TJones ate Boston up. Impressive, especially the rebounding and how he scored so much just in the flow and running the floor.

See a lot of things to like

1. crashes the boards, gets garbage buckets
2. puts the ball on the floor, penetrates, creates for himself
3. runs the floor like a deer, a barreling big man
4. shooting range, defenders will respect, giving him space to drive and penetrate against alow footed tall defenders
5. "verticality" and length to his game, he's long, with just raising his arms = he can get blocks, gets boards, gets to dunk a lot (the dunk is the highest percentage shot)

yes, he deserves to get the most minutes at PF

 

Yeah, not close either. That block on Faverani was sweet.

 

Celtics might be the worst team in the league. Glad to see Jones had a great night, but I won't take this guy seriously until he puts these same numbers up against the Clippers, Spurs, etc.

 

did dwight put up great numbers vs Clips as well?

 

If he continues to work hard,he might be able to get 12 points with 7-8 boards along with adequate defense,rebounding in an efficient manner against the best teams this season.

Murray would probably ship off Parsons before he ships off TJ. No way he trades TJ after he spent all those picks on power forwards and one finally works out.

 

One thing that you might have missed is his ability to catch the ball. Asik would have probably fumbled half of those assists.

 

Great game from TJones last night! He looks to be a good fit in the Rocket's system. Hope he keeps it up.
