Impressive performance by Jones!

I am utterly surprised by his ability to finish around the rim (59% in paint). He has a variety of reliable shots that can get over his defenders. If he adds spins and jump fakes, he will be awesome.

Areas need improvement:

1. Long jumpers. His mechanism looks broken and needs lots of off season work to correct his motion and follow through.

2. Pass the damn ball to a guard right after a defensive rebound.

3. Rotation awareness and block out for a rebound when Dwight goes for a weak side block.

He sure came a long way from his arrest in Portland!

It's about freaking time Morey got one of these PF picks right.

 

And this is what I'm talking about. T jones didn't play bad tonight but he can't control ibaka. Obv t jones is young but like I said he's a back up PF and maybe in the future a starting one. We need a PF like Thad young who can stop other PFs n slightly spread the floor or a of like Ryan Anderson who can stop the double teams on dwight in the paint.
