And the Rockets have won 7 of those 10 if I'm not mistaken. My only concern is his declining free throw accuracy. Is Dwight coaching him in practice?

Sometimes he looks a little clumsy handling the ball. But he actually is a good ball handler. He averages less than one turnover per game. I like that he can grab a rebound and then quickly bring the ball up the court all by himself.

And the shot blocking! This guy does a lot of things pretty well. If he improves his shooting then sky is the limit. He already has a few post moves.

Another thing that is so exciting is that he is not fully grown physically and mentally. Probably has another 2 years before he reaches his physical prime and with more game experience and summers to improve his game, we are so lucky to have him in our roster.

I'm just really happy for this guy. You can tell from the interview that all this attention is new to him. He put the work in and deserves what he's getting now. Good job, T Jones!

This is going to sound like I'm hating on him but I'm not. When I see the highlights he does look clumsy handling the ball and it seems like he sorta just throws it up there. With that said I think he is a great player and a work horse. He plays hard and hustles and he's a really good defensive player for the most part. I just don't see him being a starting PF. I don't see him competing against LMA or Kevin Love well he'll even millsap. I mean obviously he is young but and can improve but I think trading him for Thaddeus young or any PF improvement is wise or keep him as a nice back up Role player and just trade asik, mojitues, Ronnie brewer for some good pf plus extra players.

Bravo to TJ. Lots and lots excellent stuff in that video. I am more pleased with the way how he scored 25 pts. You have young guns kinda just chuck out there to get 30, 40 pts once in a blue moon all the time, but TJ showed a lot of skills and BB IQ with those 25 pts. How about the 6 blocks and carrying us in the 3rd and 4th!

For those questioning he is ball handling ... for crying out loud, he is a 4. Aren't you not as elated as me when you see him put the ball on the floor drive and run the full court.

So what your saying is if a player is not in the level of LMA, Love, etc, they are not starting PF material? There are 32 teams in the NBA and each one has a starting PF and some are better than others but it is quite unfair to compare a 22 yr old player to the likes of those established PF's.

Amazing how fast he has mature his game. Last season and even at the beginning of his season, he rushed, rarely know when to pass, take poor shots and just in general, was mostly out of sync with the team. All of those issues are gone. He seems much more poise, know when to take it himself and when to pass.... and an early sign of a star, raised his game when it counted with critical blocks, rebound and shot making. Be more consistent and he might just be the 3rd star we need to go really far.

    Hooray for TJ.

I do think that DMo should be given more playing time though.

LOL at dude already trying to compare him with LMA or Love

man, just be happy we got this kid, he should have been top 5 in draft

I'm very happy for this kid and his future. As long as he continues to work hard he'll be in a good place.

I'm not saying that as I slightly emphasized getting Thaddeus would be smart with jones either in the trade or back up PF. Their is no doubt Terrance jones is doing swell at the PF spot. I mean of coarse he could devolp over the years and get better but I still just see him as a decent starter and a great off the bench guy. His floaters are good and he can grind in the paint but I just don't see him dominating other power forwards. For example I dknt see him doing as we'll like this game when it comes playoff time for tim Duncan or Blake griffen maybe David lee hell even ibaka. Given he is young he's not the PF we need now. I think keeping him would be a wise idea because future promises look good for him but I think now we need a nice starting PF. Like I said I like Thaddeus young and millsap. I say we send asik for one of them plus other players.

In the future, I'm saying... clearly tons of upside here.
