Awesome vid. Easily the best Yao highlight reel I've seen. Don't like the music so much, but hey, maybe that's just me.
After watching this vid it baffles me why we cant seem to get this guy the ball in scoring position. Once he get it (the ball) in the paint people seem to have trouble stopping him. You see Deke lol. Since he passes so well and can hit the 15ft jumper, why not have him set up at the ft line sometimes?
Awesome, LegendZ3. Yao is just simply amazing. I wish we see more of that court vision and passing touch from Yao next season.
Well Legendz3, if you can take a bit of constructive criticism: I liked the video and all, but some of the clips were a bit underwhelming. It's 10 minutes long, and it could stand to get a lot of cutting. I think a mix video works best in the 3-5 minute range, kind of like a music video. I could have done without some of the "Teammate drives into the paint, dumps it off to Yao, and he dunks it." But I do like some of the low post moves. And actually it would have been nice to see his whole repetoire (hook shots, fadeaways, pick and rolls, jumpers etc.), instead of mainly shots right "at the rim". Otherwise it was a pretty comprehensive video of Yao's time in the NBA. Good job LZ3.
Finally, a video with music that I like! Extra points for not using any gaudy quick cuts as well. I liked it!
Just watched the video, great job Legend! Many thanks to you and Rockets2K for all the hard work to make the video clips possible for us to watch!
Thanks for the input m_cable, i'll make sure do it better next time. And I know I forgot to say this, but PLEASE DON'T POST THIS LINK ELSE WHERE. This is for members of Clutchfans only, so if you likes the video and want to share with others, send it to yousendit.com. I looked at the log file this afternoon, and more than half of the people are coming from hoopchina.com and other sites. So whoever posted this link on those sites, please edit them and put it on yousendit. And GO PISTONS!!!
Man, Yao is good. Those highlights against Shaq show his competitive nature. I think Yao will be a big time player for years to come.
I hate to say this but I've already seen the link posted on another board from someone that actually got the link from Hoopchina. The link is out there already, so you might want to keep an eye the bandwidth and shut it down before you get hurt. If you can squeeze the file under 50 mb, then you can upload it to www.rapidshare.de which has unlimited downloads.
Forgot to add in my earlier post how much Yao's rookie year clips in the beggining was great to see. Stuff like the slick banking scoop shot, no look overhead passes, jai ali pass and inventive assists. Seeing all those assists showed his versatility. It's too bad Van Gundy's system is so structured, limiting a player's natural creativity. I can tell Yao felt more comfortable with Rudy's laid back system and incorporated his creativity. With Van Gundy, he's constantly on guard that his coach is gonna impersonate a rabied chihuahua barking at a stranger if he tries to go flashy rather than no-nonsense, stick-to-the-basics basketball.
I am having trouble playing the video. I have downloaded it and tried to play it through windows media player but I get an internal application error has occured before it even plays. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
anyone else having problems? I'm trying to d/l but it says "for clutchfans members only" and I'm not sure what usernm/pwd to use on that
Sorry, I have almost used up all my bandwidth for this month, so I have shut it down. I will post an yousendit link later today when I wake up.
