I have so much faith in our team's heart that never for a second did I doubt we would make the playoffs this year.

How well we do is a completely different story.

    the most interesting part:

Spears: "I dont really have a feeling that they want him to play anymore"

He meant without a player like a healthy Tracy circa 2007.

i don't agree - i think the rockets can squeak into the playoffs. there are so many factors that play into predicting who will/won't make it at this point. injuries? trades? the season is waaaayyy to young for kenny to say that.

if kenny had said - you need a player of tracy mcgrady's talent level in order to win a championship (not just 'make the playoffs') - then i may have agreed with him.

I agree with Kenny Smith. I dont caare how great this team's chemistry is this team will not make the playoffs without a player of T-Mac's stature. It's as simple as that.....u win with talent....and this team despite how hard it plays needs more talent.

I disagree. You can have all kinds of talent like Oklahoma City and Memphis, but if you don't play as a team, you have no shot to get in the playoffs.

And why is everyone thinking that we have a bunch of scrubs, even our own fans? Aaron Brooks, Kyle Lowry, Carl Landry, Scola, Hayes, Budinger have proven that they are legit NBA players. They are young but also have a lot of talent and Adelman is doing a great job channeling those talents in the right places.

Rockets are more than bunch of scrubs. We'll make the playoffs, Tracy or not.

You may have teams with talent that dont make the playoffs, but that isn't the question.........the question should be what teams make the playoffs in the west with inferior talent ?? This is the west......its 10 deep. If we want to be one of those teams we need another great scorer like t-mac.
