Wow, this thread is weak. I don't think I've seen a thread launch so fast and then digress so quickly into total and complete off-topic bickering. This thread should be locked.
I'd say they were too busy making an actual point to give a damn. You're such a champion of accuracy today. That was sarcasm btw. How can I trust you to figure out anything if you're stumped on spelling mistakes?
I try to stay out of this forum, but I was reading this thread and just had to comment with this: This is one of the most lucid political posts I've ever read on this BBS.
http://homepages.wmich.edu/~d3wykren/pow.wmv http://homepages.wmich.edu/~d3wykren/pow.wmv http://homepages.wmich.edu/~d3wykren/pow.wmv 3 links to the videos if anyone wants to watch.
No kidding, unlike a movie, that is real. It is just horrible. I will never ever click those links. +
My God... I can't put into words how awful that video was... I will say this, for those who thought that his death was quick unfortunately that was not the case. The beheading was not in one motion, it took almost a minute. I won't go into more detail than that. That was the worst thing I have ever seen.
I do have to admit I watched it and my stomach is crawling and my head hurts and i feel a bit woozy. Terrible Terrible thing that happened.
Problem is there is no connection of AQ to Iraq...and Rumsfeld admits that. Therefore, our war on Iraq lacks justification. Care to rehash that again for your lack of comprehension? http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=13323 http://slate.msn.com/id/2091354 The War on Terror is against ALL regiemes that Harbor/Support/Arm terrorist.
I wonder if anyone out there can intelligently and objectively describe the difference between debate and ranting. I know they both can get confused from time to time and I believe it's a matter of perspective. because I believe in something wholeheartedly and get emotional about it doesn't totally make me a ranter. And how is my so called ranting affecting troop morale? I support out troops and my country but not at the cost of my freedom which is what we are granted in the constitution.
We can argue about this stuff until the cows come home but can we do it another thread? Express outrage. Grief. Disbelief. Horror. But can we save the political stuff for another topic?
