Royce White failed at showing up in camp on time and in shape.

Royce and Terrence jones is a hella scary match-up. They both look like they can play center.

    1) How many 6'7" - 6'8" and 260-265 pound guys can you name that are fast for the NBA and have really good stamina? I can think of about one - LeBron James, except he's about 250 lbs.

    2) I love when people act as if someone has a ceiling on their athletic ability. Like "oh he's slow"..sweet, that doesn't mean he'll be "slow" 2 years from now.

When this guy develops, I really won't understand if he doesn't run the second unit. He can play point easy, just have him guard a big on the other end.

the lone possession he tried to go one-on-one off the dribble he was ripped badly for a turnover at the top of the key.

until he can develop a reliable jumpshot or display some legit nba inside game, he'll likely be unable to crack the rotation. we've had similar players in the past with great court vision and passing skills who also could not stick the J and therefore could not get playing time. terrence williams, rodrick rhodes, and randy livingston just to name a few (although terrence, like royce, was possibly in the dog house for off-court reasons as well).

Rice White is nearly as popular in Asia as Jeremy Lin and Jeremy Lam.

I aggree. However, if he does develop a consistent J, he would be much better than all the players you mentioned with a J. The upside for White is off the charts.

Despite that really sloppy turnover he had, I thought his passes were really sweet. Sadly, he doesn't seem like he'll get much playing time though.

Just wait until one of those passes end up in a really bad turnover.
McHale will rip the living crap out of him.

Royce is an amazing passer, I'll admit. But showing off is going to be the least of his worries if he doesn't get PT.

He wasn't showing off. Those were the fundamental passes to make...

Has anybody noticed How Motiejunas plays his best when he has Royce White feeding him the rock ? I think however the minutes work out They need to be together just like Lamb and Jones seem to work well on the court together
