No, the more I think about it, the more I like that Yao didn't give Artest the warmest reception. Artest comes lower than Yao in the pecking order, and respect is due to Yao from Artest, not *necessarily* vice versa. Personally, I want Artest to have authority figures around him, like Adelman, Elston Turner, Deke, and maybe now Yao. If it were Shaq and he gave the kind of reception Yao did, I would completely believe it was about pecking order, respect due and team leadership. Oh yeah, and Yao is a little busy playing basketball with a national team right now, while Artest is not

I remember that game vividly. Ron Ron literally took over the game in the 4th quarter and was dominating both ends of the court. There aren't many players in the NBA that can do that. Now he's on our team and we got him for basically nothing! Even though the Rockets won, me and my friend said that if the Rockets got Artest and stay healthy, that it's over and they would go all the way. I expect a championship. Yao should've just shut his mouth from the very beginning. Very stupid and unecessary comments from him.
Very insightful. The more I hear from Artest himself, the more I like him. He is far from an idiot. He actually comes across as being rather intelligent.
