Watching the 3rd video got we wondering..... has this rockets team ever won a jump ball before? I honestly can't remember the last time we won a jump that wasn't at tipoff. it's not that big of a deal but in situations like last night it could be.
LOL im guessing these 7 minutes are the only 7 minutes of rockets basketball youve watched all season? Wierdly enough im from toronto so im also a raps/rockets fan, but if you really are a rockets fan, you should know that early in the game i would say yao touches the ball over 80% of the time. As the game goes one, if yao gets tired, or if tmac is getting hot in the fourth, and especially as the opposing team improves their defence around yao, he is definitely going to get less touches.
I am just saying time to spread the blame between both Rafer and Luther. Too many folks on here are too harsh on Rafer.
If you have been following the NBA, star players like Tmac are always heavily guarded in the final minutes. It's usually the role players who hit the open shots to win games. Jim Paxson, Sam Perkins, Robert Horry ... Are you familiar with these names?
Wow, watching it again, that 3sec call on Yao is crap. He enters the paint around the 12.5sec on the shotclock, and they blew the whistle right when the shot clock turns to 10. Its at the end of the first clip. I guess these refs haven't seen Shaq's 10 sec in the lane count.
on top of the fact that at that juncture of the game a 3-second call better be obvious as hell, not borderline or even completely crap.
Well he was open and that is his highest percentage shooting spot from the floor. He just shorted it. Maybe just slipped of his fingertips wrong. Happens to the best of 'em. We can't have Rafer afraid to take that shot when he's open. He's money from there.
Your 100% right and it's funny I leaned over and told the guy right infront of me that they were watching Yao in the lane and sure enough two min later he gets the three second call and if I remember it was around the free throw line. So weak
