about a hour or so...depends..then it takes another 30 minutes to encode the file and get it setup on my torrent program. VLC player is the best one BS Player is also good Winamp will play it if you get all of these from their creator's sites..you shouldnt have a problem with virii. also...the vids will play in any video player you want(avoid Real Player or Quicktime) as long as oyu have the Xvid codec...(notice...that IS NOT a typo...it is XVID...not Divx..) installed.....I gave the link for the windows binary in the game thread..it is from Koepi's site...he is the creator of that version of Xvid codec...I guarantee you it doesnt have a virus...

i would not recommend getting the ffdshow filter, while it does help overlay and give you more options for overlay controls it was, at least in my experience, only compatible with earlier builds of xvids. It hampered playback completely on certain unstable xvid builds, not sure what the case is today but to be on the safe side, download the XviD codec (google xvid and koepi) and just use one of the many media players r2k suggested, bsplayer etc. DO NOT use real player or qt to view the files
