I have a MAC. Can a MAC use this file? What do I have to do to be able to use this file. I have never used BT before so can someone walk me through it as a MAC owner? Thanks!
Can any body tell me why after I download the file and play it in Windows media player I only get sound??
I am using a mac and just figured it out how to use this thing. Google yourself a copy of Azureus and VLC. Then click on Rocket2K's link. Azureus should launch automatically. However, at least on my machine, the torrent won't start. I have go to the desktop where the torrent file is saved and click on it. Sit back and wait for the finish of the downloading. In the end, you should see a .avi file on the desktop. Open it with VLC and enjoy. By the way, you may also need to install DivX, which can be found free with google as well. As THE Rocket2K always says, leave your client open once done downloading. Cheers
Mark and fba, xVid and VLC are two things you need http://www.koepi.org/XviD-1.0.3-20122004.exe http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ Deuce, http://azureus.sourceforge.net/download.php and you will need to install the codec for Xvid... now...seeing how you are on a MAc...Im not positive how to do this since I dont have one....but this page http://www.insaneness.com/xvid.html explains how to accomplish it...be sure and let me know if it works so I can keep it for future reference.
man this sucks...I get home and finally I can start downloading the video and for whatever reason, my BitTornado client which I've been using for the past year suddenly decides it doesn't want to accept any incoming requests. After frantically going through a search of any new programs I've installed in the past 3 weeks (none), and watching that stupid red light for 4 hours, I've concluded there is no way I am getting this file unless someone is nice enough to put it on a ftp server. Sigh
switch to bitcomet or azureus and se if it does the same thing...there might be aproblem with your normal client. it's doubtful anyone is gonna put it on a ftp...especialy since the bandwidth is such a issue these days....but if you are gonna get it...getting it with almost 170 seeds is the time to do it.
If someone can, can you please upload it to sendit.com or some other website? That site will allow people to download it quicker AND then seed it to everyone else. All we need is ONE person to do that and give us the link, then a bunch of people will use it and I will seed as well without any upload limit. Thanks guys
