He only picks it up from the slew of Americans that do the exact same thing, and then some. At least Yao uses it as stop-gap to finding the right words to use. Hell, he speaks great English considering his background. At least he's not using "like" "I'm like" and "I mean", over and over. You know?
I like how JVG uses J-Howard's words as a way to motivate his bench players. I like this time of the year when you have everyone trying to get a mental edge here and there on their opponents. I wouldn't be surprised if JVG has those quotes somewhere in the locker room to get guys like Howard, Head, Deke and others to step up.
check out this JVG interview on the radio. more pressure for tmac baby to get out of the first round and lol @ JVG saying the pressure should be on him. http://podcast.wfan.com/wfan/416726.mp3
hmmm JVG seems relaxed and very nice in this interview Sometimes he sounds really depressed in post-game interviews
Josh Howard needs to keep his mind on his series with the Warriors. No thanks of wishing he was Rocket.
Jeff's life mission is to vanquish all sports cliches. He was enjoying the hell out of all the softball cliches being tossed at him.
Even though Mac made a few jokes there was intensity like Ive never seen in someone other than Kobe and MJ eyes. It gave me the chills a few points just to watch the way he is handling himself. Lets go Rockets. lets go. so pumped no way imma sleep tonite.
Now we just need him to "disrespect" a few other things...Rafer's shooting, Yao's PnR defense...heck maybe even Hayes's height.
Listen to JVG interview and "you know" where it come from. Yao: "I have to follow my coach's instruction."
