In the end Les owns the team, so what he says goes. This is all in the past.

It used to bother be about how Les treated people. After JVG I really thought he was classless. For Rick though, wtf does he expect? He interviewed for a job that was already filled. He turned down an offer. You knew the score here before came. He was similarly butthurt after he got fired from the Kings. Blamed the Maloofs.

All meetings involved Morey, and there was no time that Les asked him to do something directly that he didn't do. I think he is basically saying as he understood it, Morey was who he needed to deal with and all dealings with Les would be through Morey.

 

Near the end of his tenure with the Kings the Maloofs were actually heckling him at games. It was a bad situation.

 

I wasn't able to make out what he was saying between 0:44-0:55. Can someone transcribe his words for me?

It sounds like his departure had more to do with a bad relationship with the owner than anything else (as, I think, Clutch reported last year).

I'm confused as to what he's trying to say. I can think of a couple of things he's trying to say, but I'm still unsure.
