Video Request: Last Minute

Oh, guess I am s.o.l. cuz my CPU won't let me download that (access denied).

 

are you at work or somoething?

some places have restrictions in what they will allow to be installed.

can you download anything else? or is just that site?

I could mirror that file on the video server if need be...hell I should do that anyway that way I wont have to keep looking up the link everytime someone needs it.

If no one else does it before later today...Ill see if I can get it done...I am not used to making gifs...but I do have a prog that I can use to do it.

Could it be that I have to download it from home, as opposed to work?

 

hmm...I wonder if maybe they have that particular site blocked off...is it giving you a access denied when you try to download it? or when you try to install it?

yea....you dont have the permissions to access the pertinate system files on your computer.

not unusual in a business environment, it keeps the IT guys from having to reload computers every few months cause ppl screw it up installing stuff.

looks like you will have to wait till you get home, unless you can talk a IT guy at your place of business into helping you out.

 

Ok, so it's not the CPU, it's the connection (meaning I can download it when I get home to my SBC Yahoo)?

the other way around.....the fact that you had it there to try to install means you downloaded it off your connection...it is your computer itself that wont allow you to install the codec....the IT dept has set the permissions so that you cant install it.

you should be able to download it and do what ever you want at home.


no prob Gummi....lets just hope that making the gif is as easy as it seems...I did a couple back during the Summer of YoYao™ () and it wasn't that hard to do...but I made them from still pics....Im pretty sure that it is easier to create one from a video clip

That was easily the most amazing individual performance I have ever seen, better than any clutch Jordan moment. The rest of the team (other than Yao), needs to locate their balls they don't deserve to share the same court with T-mac.
