Eh, that goes for anybody, but the ladies tend to dance more than men. :D

Pitbull is like a bilingual Luke without the controversy. He just makes ass shaker music...only people who really want to shake their ass buy his music, i doubt many people "listen" to him.

Hmmm before you say something like that you should just shup up. I know you're old school and all that but some people actually listen that music and like it. Rap isn't all about great lyrics, some people enjoy listening to the beat and love music even when it doesn't mean something important. You should respect other people preferance instead of taking yourself for '' Mr. I know everything ''.

Yeah I don't like the music either but I don't need to get on my high horse and state it. The thread is about a celebrity punching a fan on stage, not the music.

Is this considered rap? hip hop? I am not old. Well 31 but I grew up when gangsta rap was popular and liked it and still do.
    Is it a different genre?

either way did he hire a r****ded monkey to make the music and lyrics? :D

Don't disrespect real rap by comparing it to that. That guy is horrible. I know I'm not hip anymore at 31 years old but I still appreciate someone who can flow and has interesting lyrics. This guy is pretty bad on all fronts. I would be very interested to see what veteran rappers who have been around a while think of this guy (Lil' John doesn't count).

Interesting video though. He looked like he threw a pretty nasty right. If it was real, I am surprised the guy he hit actually popped right back up.

LOL - I think it is crap and doesn't take much talent to write simplistic rhymes.

You can like what you want.....can't I dislike what I want?

It's considered reggaeton, a mix of reggae and douchebaggery. I believe the origin of the genre was pure, but you know how it goes...

I can't hate Pitbull..after all, he did find these guys, miami bass warriors. :p They're pretty funny.

I think this is considered club hip hop..like stuff people dance to. In recent years club hip hop has taken over the mainstream to the dismay of rap purists who used to listen for the lyrics. There is still good rap being produced, but generally you don't hear it on the radio. Same with most other genre's of music as well.

You can, I personnally hate rock but I'm not going to say '' Damn rock sux so much it's horrible it's just heavy noise ''.

    I respect other people preference.

And btw, I don't like Pitbull but Rap isn't all about lyrics no more. Some people like song with great lyrics (I'm one of them, I like Nas, Notorious, Pac) and other with a great beat and you have to respect that. You can't just say '' he sucks '' because his lyrics don't mean anything .. because to you lyrics are the most important.

I agree. You just don't let another man make it rain on you. That is the worst dishonor on the streets. Even worse than someone stealing your girl or murdering your family.

Raggaeton should be outlawed, because just like the tejano beats it always sounds the same... like a big steaming pile of repetitive poopie.

So what do you call it when the beat is actually a sample from another song?

I don't hate all rap, but this crap was HORRIBLE.

Pitbull is a miserable excuse for rap.

I'd rather listen to an actual Pit Bull growling and barking to a repetitive ray-gay-ton beat than his PitBull****.
