i think any time a PG gets a block like this, especially when its a rookie on an established star like Dirk, its worthy of awe.
that's it, exactly. he's too old to compete with honest effort, within the rules. i used to have respect for him. i even loved him in "Quest for Fire" and "Unfrozen Caveman Forward". ok, that part i made up. i noticed shawn marion getting these cross-court, open-look shots for easy dunks. only because his old legs weren't making it back up the floor on the defensive end. the only reason he was effective on harden was due to double and triple-team help. i also noticed cuban after the buzzer. instead of his usual high-fiving, d-bag bravado, he had this look on his face that said "holy *****, we were lucky to get this one". as well as a look of; "well, there is the team of the future". even the dallas announcers, mostly derek harper, were surprised they squeaked that one out.
