Hakeem was just unbelievable. You watch the videos and you still can't believe the things he did. Unreal player.
exactly. Yao can't do any of those moves. if he tries, he'll just get stripped, especially those spin moves on double teams.
Man thats some old school rap lyrics.... . nice vid. anyone who underrates the dream must watch this.
hey hilltopper what was the link to email the video department again? kprc still hasn't done anything about the sound.
http://www.click2houston.com/contact/index.html Address it to the Click2Houston department. It's not something they can actually fix, but they can relay your concerns to people who actually run/design the site. Don't forget to take the survey and list any complaints or positive feedback there.
cool man. not a knock on ya, just wish i could hear it better through the headphones. keep the videos comin'
Jeff pointed out his incredible numbers in his 5th year (of course, he had incredible numbers, by today's standards, from the get-go), yet Dream had a long, long wait to make it to the top after the post '85-'86 implosion. I'm damned glad he talked to him, and in a "public" way. It shows he still bleeds for the team, that he cares, and that he's willing to reach out to Yao. Yao better take advantage of it and work with him this summer.
awesome video! HAKEEM has a swimming pool like a basketball court, cool! so awesome of him talking to Yao after the game, showing the houston love
Agreed - I was so proud to see Dream walking down the baseline to his seat. He took the trouble to be at the game -showing his support. Thank you Hakeem for being at the game!!
Correct- the team ownership and management failed to build a team around a truly great player for several seasons. Many great years in Hakeem Olajuwan's career were wasted on a less than great team. Thank goodness we have a better owner now.....
Actually, it shows that Hakeem sill likes the LIMELIGHT more than anything else. He knew a game 7 was a nice public stage to partake in... just like he did for Yao-Shaq II. The only solace Yao can really take from Hakeem is that it took him forever to "get there." Hell, T-mac can take the exact same message from him as well... don't give up, you guys are too good for it not to happen for you eventually.
The Dream plays faster than I remember. Man he out runs guards and dribble like one. That is NOT, I repeat NOT Yao. JVG is right in one respect about Yao. Yao was born with a gift of height and nothing else. He worked very hard to learn his skills (shooting) to the point that he is the most accurate FTer on the team. He has incredible touch and is very lethal inside or out (use to be anyway). However, he is not fast, can't dribble and has no hop at all. He is lucky if he jumps 2 feet in the air (24") and he is not a quick jumper either. That said, I still believe Yao is very good simple because he has incredible work ethics and will do everything to get better. I was so upset at him after the lost but I forgot how dedicated he is and he will come back better, strong and more determined to succeed. This is his greatess asset. He was limited by his sloweness, injury (not 100% - no stamia), and very physcial defense.
we had great team earlier in Dream's career. it wasn't management that derailed that team. it was a bad knee (sampson) and white powder.
man that's sad we can't even win with Dream's karma at the game. Someone bail Max out of jail and bring him to the playoffs next year. at least Max can trash talk for the Rockets since our team is too scared to drop multiple fwords on their opponent.
Yao will never move like Dream but the key is how can Dream convince Yao not to be a p***y on the floor. Dream is/was a great guy but he was a mean sob on the floor while Yao is a passive nice guy on and off the floor.
