Video of skydiver falling without parachute and surviving - AMAZING

Looks like using Firefox coulv have been my problem. I'll give it a shot with IE when I get home.

 

My girlfriend had a friend years back who survived a skydive where the parachute didn't open. He shattered the bones in his legs and was in the hospital and rehab for months. He's apparently fine today.

 

This must be more common than thought but it brings up an interesting question, how does one survive the fall?

 

Now that I think about it, there was a girl up here in Arkansas about a year or 2 ago that went skydiving and her chute failed to open as well. She survived her fall and to add to that she was pregnant and the child survived with no injuries.
