they didn't call a foul on Beverley on his play, they sure as hell not going to call a foul on this Durant's play.
What was Jeremy doing on the court if contact from a 6'10 stickman made him recoil in pain like a little girl? If you're too hurt to play, then just don't.
Why did Lin even suit up for this game? I would go as far as to say his minutes literally cost us a chance at this series. He has given us absolutely nothing 3 games in a row.
Durant was obviously trying to make a point. Tbh, players really should stop doing that crap, it's already after the timeout is called, why try to reach in like that?
THIS is what makes it dirty. Oh and are we not forgetting Perkins trying to blind side Beverley in the beginning of the game? **** OKC. So much for a good clean series. Bunch of cheaters, floppers.
Ex Rocket Jon Berry of ESPN was just mystified by Lin even being out there given his level of play. Horrible. Durant was dick with this though.
That's the exact same thing Bev did. Bev does it and the world goes crazy, Durant does it and....nothing. Screw OKC
1. Lin didn't blow out his knee from it, Westbrook did. 2. Westbrook is a star, Lin isn't. And for the record, I'm on Beverley's side that it wasn't a dirty play, just an unfortunate accident.
Also, seems like Durant is making a play on Lin's arm more than on the ball. Same arm that Lin injured.
Beverley > Lin. In this series. If Lin doesn't get TREMENDOUSLY better in the off-season I hope we ship his ass somewhere else. What a disappointment. I was expecting somewhere around 15/7 averages. He gave us 12/6 on like 40% shooting. Horrible.
What does that have to do with anything? It was a dirty play with intent against a guy who was injured. Just because Durant has a history of being a good guy doesn't change the fact that play was dirty. Think about it... 1. Beverly was trying to make a play on the ball. Durant was trying to send a message to the Rockets. 2. Beverly was not trying to hurt Westbrook. Durant was trying to hurt Lin. 3. Beverly was going for the ball he thought he had a shot at. Durant yanked on Jeremy's arm with no real chance at getting the ball. Clearly one play was intended to be dirty and the other was not. It wasn't a big deal. It was just a retaliation play that I can understand considering how losing Westbrook hurts their playoff chances. I don't think it makes Durant a dirty player just it was stupid to do it. But no worries... Jeremy wasn't helping us anyway. He's done for the year. But it was a dirty play with intent from a player who is not generally dirty.
