I get the sense MDA and Morey did NOT see eye to eye on matching D-Mo. I think Morey was against it, but MDA has a good case to make coming off this road trip. Les made the final decision, but I really sense tension between coach and GM and it's not the first time I get that feeling. Anyone else seen hints of that?

So I'm thinking the discomfort I saw from MDA in this video was because they already knew D-Mo was not going to show up for the physical.

I think it is a mock up from when D'Antoni was Lakers coach.
He was under fire for their atrocious defence to start the season, and made the gaffe of admitting they only do minor defence drills

The setting: D'Antoni is speaking with news reporters about the loss when one asks him if his team practiced defense before the game. The question was a bit of a setup, with the interviewer going through his understanding of the Lakers' pregame activities, which didn't include defensive drills.

"Hell, yeah, we worked for a half-hour on it," D'Antoni countered. "You're starting to piss me off. You're starting to piss me off because you're saying something that's not factually correct."
