    I'm so excited.

My son and I saw this on SportsCenter this morning while getting ready for work/school. He asked me if I thought Mario Williams would "crack" Vince Young this year. :D

I am too. And I just can't hide it. In fact, I'm about to lose control, and I think I like it.

I'm so excited. And I just can't hide it. I know, I know, I know, I know, I know I want you. I want you.

Thats going to be pretty tough to pull off when you rush 4 times for 7 yards. Maybe a comparison to Stacey Mack would be more realistic. :D ;)

That's an awesome video! I honestly think that Reggie Bush vs. Mario Williams will end up being a lot like George Rogers vs. Lawrence Taylor. George Rogers was the flashy Heisman-winning running back from South Carolina that was picked ahead of Lawrence Taylor. NY Giants fans all wanted George Rogers over Lawrence Taylor because Rogers was fun to watch. If I am not mistaken, I think Rogers even led the NFL in rushing his rookie year. But who ended up having the better career?

Now I'm not saying that Mario Williams will be the next LT nor I am saying that like George Rogers, Bush will fall off the face of the Earth after 5 years. However, the drama leading into their rookie season is very similar and I'm convinced that Mario will not disappoint. As someone previously mentioned, if Reggie becomes the next Barry Sanders and Mario becomes the next Bruce Smith, I'll take Bruce Smith any day of the week.

I was a Bush guy, but it didn't take long to realize that this was the smarter choice. Our D-Line has sucked at pass-rushing and our division has strength in the passing game. When your division accounts for 6 games, that has to be a consideration. Mario may not get the sacks and he might not need to. He demands attention, which opens other players on the team to improve their stats. A better D-Line makes things better for the secondary.

In hind-sight, I'm glad this happened. I looked forward to seeing Mario get better with each game.

I wouldn't report it to your IT group. Reinstall the plug-in.

I went deep, deep, deep sleeper and picked the Texans defense with my last draft pick in fantasy football. I figured why not, they seem improved. Besides my starting defense is Chicago.

I remember reading the article Smith wrote before the draft arguing that best pick for our team was Mario. The article had some valid points, but I thought it was a foregone conclusion that we were drafting Bush.

Getting so pumped up over the upcoming season. i hope Super Mario kills QBs; It's time for the Texans to take revenge on the rest of the league. I hope he creates so much havoc in the backfield on run plays that the offensive coordinators won't know what to do, run or pass?

I am waiting for that one sack, one of his signature moments, where he just hits the QB from the blindside and just ruins the QBs day -- I'm looking for an act of controlled violence. It's going to be fun having him on our side.

Like I posted in another thread, it was a foregone conclusion by the media that we were drafting Bush. The Texans insisted that they were seriously considering Mario but nobody (including mself) believed them, everyone thought they were just trying to gain leverage in Bush talks.

Anyways, it's a great example of nothing is done until it is done. While Bush maybe a great RB, Lundy/Morency/Smith/DD is a great core under Kubiak's system and at a fraction of the cost.

Bush is over-rated...The type of scheme we have doesn't need a Bush...Mario will be just fine...
