I think this Rockets team is the most Versatile team in the league. Last year Scola was just getting his feet wet, this year is gonna be his break out year. I see 16 and 9 this season.

I see scola having a great year...but people predicting 15-16 pts and 9 brds are going over the top...first of all this team is loaded and second, I dont think scola even averaged those types of numbers in europe...
I see 12 pts 7-8brds from scola and thats great. I still believe landry will be back to split mins with scola.

We have to many guys this season for scola to average career numbers.
    tmac 21pts 5 ast 5 brds
    Yao 21 pts 10 brds 2blk
    Artest 18pts 6brds 3ast 2 stl 1 blk
    Scola 12pts 7.5brds 2ast
    rafer 11pts 7ast 2stl
    landry 8pts 4brds
    battier 8pts 4brds 2ast 1 stl 1 blk
    barry 5pts 2ast
    francis or head?
everyone else will depend on matchups

This team could be scary good. I can see this team going on a run like last season for the Celtics. Dominating everyone. This team might go down in history as one of the greatest assembled teams of all-time in the same conversations as the 86 Celtics.

They gotta put it all together to make that happen ...but man, they've got everything. In their prime, they've got Yao, TMac, Battier, Artest and Scola. They got a great coach capable of putting those peices together. None of them are selfish guys. If they just play at their "averages" for the entire season, it's scary to think. Scola is the only 'new comer' but only to the NBA.

Their margin of victory is gonna be sick this season. Top 5 defense combined with high powered offense. I'm excited ...can you tell?

Only questions are can the team get the chemistry back from the 22-game streak and can they stay healthy?

Best other team is the Lakers. ...and we can swap Artest/Battier on him all night long. Scola will know how to defend Gasol. We can put Artest on Odem. Who will guard Yao? It's sick.

I just hope those 11 points per game you predicted to raffer don“t come from 12 FGA per game.

Scola is the man no doubt. Does a lot of cleanup work but can create his own shot as well.

I would love to see Scola, Battier, Artest, and Landry get a lot of minutes this year and limit T-mac and especially Yao's minutes until the playoffs. Artest is in his free agent year and has a ton to prove give him 48 minutes a game. Have Hayes/Landry/Scola play a lot, give Yao his rest and then unleash him in the playoffs. With the Olympics, Yao has already got some wear and tear and this could be the only year of the big three.....

If we could get an 80-90% effective Francis he could play some 2 and rest T-mac even more. Here's hoping.

The only x factor here is Rafer, he is capable of finishing his job, but his performance is not that stable. A Rafer in good shape will secure our wins.

    Yea, that's fine man...

...I've uploaded two videos from the Olympics. One got deleted in just a few minutes and the other one got deleted in a few hours. So, I'm guessing it will only be a matter of time before yours get deleted. Is NBC even letting ESPN use there broadcasts? I'm always just seeing pictures for the highlights.

I thought by naming it "Luis Scola is Clutch" it might make it a little longer.

    Nice Video, Thanks!

Scola is exceeding all expectations! With the way he works around the boards, his low post moves, his vision on the court and his hustle, I see Scola averaging a least 18 pts, 10 boards. He will be one of the main pieces logging some heavy minutes. I doubt he gets in foul trouble as much as he did last year and I just don't know who in his position would be able to stop him, you never know which way he's going to spin.

When thinking about this team you can't help but smile! :D

Mike Harris > Scola, Deke > Scola, My momma > Scola,

Just kidding, love his hustle and wish the Rockets would run more plays for this dude.
