Their is no need to be an jerk and criticize someone else for having a hobby...I along with many other fans on this board appreciate the video mixes guys like ccr or the vid clips that R2K take the time to make...are you saying this all a waste of time... if thats how you feel, you can take your arrogant ass and go "contribute to society" instead of posting here... someone might have pointed this out to you before but that was before it was established that having a hobby was a bad thing...and yeah...us rocket fans are also part of society...we just happen to be the few that see the light...

again until tracy wins, no one cares. they don't care if he has crappy teammates.

kobe advanced w/ a top 3 center and top 5-6 player of all time in shaq but no one cares about that. they cared that he won.

I love T-Mac, but the performances this season of Kobe and Gilbert Arenas, especially Kobe, make me wonder why T-Mac doesn't play at a higher level more consistently. Granted, T-Mac has to worry about his back, but he has the ability to play about like Kobe. He doesn't play with the same intensity though. KG, Dirk, Steve Nash, Tim Duncan all play with more consistent intensity than T-Mac.

T-Mac must be counting on playing at a different level against Utah when the playoffs come. He seems to think that home court will not matter, because Houston is just going to beat Utah as a basketball team. But Houston is not doing that right now. Everything hinges on T-Mac's ability to start playing his best game in the playoffs.

u knock it on the head - the back. did u see him try to play all out at playoff level v. the mavs earlier this yr. that was the one game where he said he came out looking to just take over from the opening tip?

he has to pace himself over the reg. season now.

watch when wade comes back he's not gonna go all out b/c of that shoulder either.

the back is a serious injury. he's trying to manage it as well as possible so he can be healthy enough for the playoffs. and afer that first bout w/ the spasms, he has done a good job. now he's ready to go for the playoffs.

in the playoffs, u always have a day and sometimes 2 (b/c of tv scheduling) off to rest. so he can go all out. so if his back is sore, a day off is good.

and sometimes b/t series, u can have even 3-4 days off.

Is this moron banned yet? For someone who criticizes others of not posting anything positive or insightful, YOU HAVENT POSTED ANYTHING WORTH A DAMN. CCR is one of my favorite posters here and you are probably confusing him with Zboy(juwan hater), DaDakota(JVG hater/rafer), and Clutch(Rafer hater) to an extent with all of his rafer bashing. And if CCR bothers you so much and you are too much of a women that you can't handle his posts, put him on ignore.

And then you go criticize his lifestyle..... Im sure he does work you r****d, he says he uses his LEISURE time on doing a hobby and a video for US. Then you bash him for making a video for us? If you were any type of a man you would take his offer of that playoff ticket and say your p***y comments to him in person. Seems like you're just trying to get your frustration out on someone since you seem to be from Indiana and the Pacers suck balls. Go be a Pacers fan because there isn't room for Rockets fans like you around here.

All I can say is DAMN. JVG is DEEP. This has to be the Gettysburg of sports interviews. Meanwhile, Yao & McGrady looked like lost puppies with their tails between their legs...

JVG simply gets it. Yes he comes off negative and pessimistic, but in the end he's pretty real and his expectations and understanding of what it takes to win is dead on. I find myself repeating the same thing to people who I see don't put in the effort it takes to get over the hump of mediocrity.

Now, do the players buy into the notion and share his vision, that's something that will be answered come playoff time.

Impressed? Only if you want to be, but I thought it was pretty obvious that the reason I brought up the video was to prove (still not sure why I would have to) that I'm not some Rockets hater. I figure it's common sense that someone who would put that much time into something like that would actually, you know, LIKE the team quite a bit.

As for getting a job and contributing something to society...I work full time in the development department of a not-for-profit organization. So, I think I'm one step ahead of you on that one.

    Anything else?

P.S. I've still got that open seat next to me for the playoff game.

We have to get one more win then them, then beat them in the final game of the season.

    That's not too unlikely...

It is if we don't start winning, starting tonight!

(starting 3 games ago would have been far better, but I digress)

Those first round winning %'s you mention have very little to do with homecourt advatage and everything to do with the fact that the best teams play the worst of the playoff teams and are simply better. In a 7 game series, having a healthy team is way more important then one extra game at home, should it get to a game 7. HC against Utah is not that big of a deal, because we can beat them in less then 7 games.

It's only the 4/5 matchups, so I'd guess that the difference in team quality isn't that significant. I'd say it has a lot to do with homecourt.

Naw, the kinda killer he was in the Lakers 3-peats, especially in the series against the Spurs. Which is worse...to be on the court in body only in a Game 7, or to be on the bench for the entire 4th qtr in a game 7?

ain't hard to look like a killer with shaq when you can cherry pick your moments. hasn't been killing in any important game since shaq left. and what's the point of going back in time, it's not happening now. it seems like kobe w/out shaq needs to find away to be a killer like that kobe guy with shaq.
