Clutch, maybe post all the videos you have in one thread, or do one video per thread.

If you wait too long to post another video within the "videos" or "higlights" thread, the latter might get lost in the subsequent pages.

Personally, I'd like to see that Hill (George, not Jordan! ;)) out-of-bounds-then-slap-it lowlight, if you have it, please.

Well, you guys need to watch the replay instead of me.

Taylor gambled for the offensive rebounds in slow motion, when it failed, him, George Hill and Ariza were basiclly on the same place. When the ball got tipped away and still loose,Ariza and Hill were both at midcourt , Taylor was nowhere to be found in that video clip.

Is Taylor that slow a player? I don't think so.

I didn't say Taylor "didn't run", I said he didn't run hard enough for defense, which is the case here.

I think you need to watch more closely. The ball came loose twice, that's what kept Taylor on the other end and why he never committed fully to coming back on D. He went back to the rim after the first loose ball, anticipating the change in posession, didnt happen, but right after that lowry got it afterall. During that sequence Taylor got stuck between deciding to run back on d or staying on the other end.

I watched again, there was only one real chance that Rockets might get the ball, which is Lowry's dive. Ariza knocked the ball loose, and the ball went right goinh to Spurs players direction, Ariza and Hill went after the ball going right, yet, they were still faster than Taylor who was going back straight.

you're seeing only what you want to see. what does ariza and hill's direction have anything to do with this? Hill had to get back, he had no reason to stay. Ariza ran only to go for the steal, which is typical ariza, it's not like he was running hard to go set up the defense on the other end. Taylor not only went for the off rebound, but went for the strip when hill got the ball. That left him flat footed for a second or so, while the other two where already in stride. Then ariza strips the ball, which makes Taylor think twice about running back, once he realizes the spurs may recover he starts to run back, but pulls back when lowry grabs it.

If youve played ball enough you've been in that situation before. You get stuck in the same spot trying to decide what to do while the ball is loose. You're acting like Hill, ariza and taylor all were running back after a miss like always and Taylor was lagging behind, which wasnt the case.

You make a good point, two rockets did not run back on D. We have been allowing teams to shoot a high percentage recently, we need some defense to go along with our scoring.

Perhaps your right, Taylor was caught in no mans land because he was not sure who would end up with possession. I am not happy with the Rockets defense, but there is no point knocking the players for that play since it was a loose ball scramble.
