You never see that, people in the league ESPECIALLY in the early 90s were afraid of MJ. Cause early MJ could drop 50 points on you. Maxwell didn't give F about it. He knew that he could stay with him and that #34 had his back in the paint. that's what I enjoyed about the video.. and that they played the Rocky theme song when Maxwell started cursing MJ
Max actually got into MJ's head too. Given MJ's ego, that could hurt the Bulls in a hypothetical 7 game series. I could see him getting frustrated (and by Horry, Hakeem, Thorpe 3-headed lankmonster in the paint) and start shooting 30 times a nite to get his 30 points.
The sonics swept the Rockets and the Bulls beat that same team 4-2. Why because this is the playoffs not regular season. How hard is for you people to understand that. If the Rockets could beat the Bulls they would've beat the sonics to play the Bulls.

In the regular season the Rockets swept the Bulls That same Stacey King/ Scott Williams matchup beat the Lakers 4-1. The Lakers swept the Rockets in the first round. What you go to say about that Mr. Tinman. Were're talking about the Playoffs! Not regular season. Everybody competitive juices in the playoff is high and the Rockets flamed out.

Jason Williams book (the one who shot the limo driver) said he thought as a rookie that he never understood how Larry Bird was so good. Teams make adjustments. If the Rockets played the Bulls and the Rockets won in the Finals, the Bulls would make the appropriate adjustments in the off season. The Rockets did that cause of Seattle, got Barkley cause Horry couldn't hang with Kemp. The Bulls got Rodman cause they lost Grant to the Magic and their front court was weak. So even if those teams did meet, the whole nba would have changed. what if magic didn't get HIV? How many more NBA finals could he have made?

The Rockets championship team was in 93-95 when we got better depth and chemistry and a new coach.. And you know we've beaten the Bulls under Chaney right? I guess not. The teams that beat Chicago and lost to the Lakers didn't have a Cassell or Elie. two of the final pieces of the puzzle. I never discredit the Bulls championships, you just love to boast about them. I'm not discrediting the Rocket's championship years, because I love my Rockets. My arguement with you is if the Bulls and the Rockets met in the finals , I say the bulls would win. You're basing your facts on regular season when the stakes are not high. It's a different story in the playoffs and those bulls teams met all challenges and succeeded. That's why their 6-0 in finals.

But if you were a real Rockets fan and witness the championships and how all the other teams before the championship ones performed against MJ's bulls in the 90s. you'd believe in your team.. if that team is the Rockets. What? the bulls front line was better? what about the bench? the championship teams with Cassell/Elie/Herrera couldn't beat their bench?
