If the Rockets could beat the Bulls how come they didn't make it to the finals.
The bulls beat the teams that the Rockets lost too in the playoffs. In the playoffs teams play at a higher level and the rockets didn't play at a higher enough level to meet the bulls. You can't get no simplier than that.

 

Same reason we could win championships but not beat the Sonics. Sometimes you draw an unfavorable matchup. The Rockets would have been that to the Bulls.

Nuggets didn't win the title that year they beat the Sonics in 94. The Bulls did in 96. You have to complete the task to get full credit.

And the point is that the Bulls won more rings with the 90's then the Rockets.
